Private sites
100% of recent Hipcampers say the sites felt private.
Secluded, quiet, and peaceful with a year-round stream and bordered by thousands of acres of BLM for hiking and time with nature. Enjoy wildlife visits, stargazing, grounding/earthing in the forest, relaxing in a hammock, listening to the breeze in the trees, all absent of human interference (no traffic noises, chatter, technology). All camp sites and available lodging options are away from view of people/roads and the public land is right out your door. If you want to connect with other people, join a yoga class onsite or attend one of our retreats throughout the year (Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox, Unplug to Recharge, and several therapeutic topics) held by Host, who is a certified yoga instructor and licensed mental health counselor.

"Soulitude" Rustic Cabin
A place for reverence
My stay at Soulitude cabin was incredible! Amanda has thought out every detail, the camp site has everything you need and nothing you don’t. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable on cold nights. The site was very private and peaceful. I had some exciting wildlife experiences right out my door. Come here expecting to respect the peace and bring an attitude of reverence for the delicate ecosystems around. Not a party site!

"Soulitude" Rustic Cabin
Relaxed camping, access to trail
We were lucky enough to get the cabin. It really is an awesome property. Very tranquil. Amanda is a great communicator. She has also tried to think of everything you could have possibly forgetten to pack, taking the possible stress out of the situation. Hope to return!!

Peaceful weekend!
It was the perfect weekend getaway! My fiance and I just wanted a quiet weekend to read and this site this not disappoint. Amanda was super responsive when I booked and she set up hammocks that we could use to relax and read. She gave us the option of situating the tee-pee on a hill with the toilet a walk down/up, or be on the level ground as the toilet and picnic area. We chose the former and, although it was a bit of a walk to use the facilities, we do not regret it as the view is beautiful up there! We did not use the picnic area so I cannot comment on that but our experience felt private and very relaxed. Amanda was not available when we visited but her parents were great hosts! They explained the rules and were available should we need anything. We cannot wait to go back!

"Soulitude" Rustic Cabin
It's a lovely location, with hiking trail along a creek between the mountains. Behind the cabin also had a small hill you can hike up to get an amazing view of the sunset with a firepit. Cabin was minimalistic but built solid and had all the camping amenities you could want as well. It's the perfect balance between camping and glamping.

Terrific Nature Escape!
To get to the property I highly recommend following Amanda's directions - GPS won't get you to just the right location. Once we arrived, Amanda showed us to our spot. She gave us a tour and overview of the rules and then let us be. We had total privacy the whole weekend. After a lot of rain the tent we chose was not available, but Amanda was very accommodating and let us stay in her Soulitude Cabin instead. It was very clean and well-kept! The outhouse was also very clean and the instructions for the composting toilet were perfectly clear. Just outside the cabin there was also a bear box to keep food and trash safely inside of and a screened canopy with a picnic table and potable water available. There were also some camp chairs available, but we brought our own. We greatly appreciated the canopy to keep us out of the rain. We also brought our own cooking gear and a propane fire pit. Steps away from the cabin, Amanda recommended going through her gate to access BLM land for hiking. We didn't venture super far (about a mile), but there was a LOT more exploring we could have done. We enjoyed just being in nature totally alone. We didn't see a single other person in the forest. We saw lots of deer, birds and bugs and had a really lovely time getting away from the city. I highly recommend this spot!
