What a cool place!
We really enjoyed coming here! We didn’t end up staying overnight, because it was forecasting snow, but we had an amazing campfire with a beautiful view & a nice dinner. We will definitely be back!

Moo!
Owners met me to show me my space. They shared a history of the property. It was neat and clean. Saw cows and a horse. Convenient location. A picnic table, fire pit, trash can, gas grill, horse shoes and a real outhouse are available. Would stay there again.

Bonnie was an amazing hostess! She was prompt with her replies and was super attentive to our desire to camp with a fire. Her farm is beautiful, and the coyotes were far away but could be heard (which we loved)! If you are wanting peaceful and serene, Bonnie’s farm is the place.

Close, yet a world away
We arrived at dusk and found our way to the back of the property following the signs. We weren’t 100% about where we should park so we reached out to Bonnie. She immediately responded and told us she would be out to greet us in a few minutes. Since there was no one else staying at the farm that evening, she allowed us to pick whichever spot we wanted. Since the farm stand up front had been empty we inquired about purchasing some eggs and vegetables. Bonnie immediately ran back and brought us back some delicious duck eggs and peppers. Since we enjoyed them so much, we messaged her about getting more produce and asked if she could bring it by in the morning to which we said yes.
In the morning we woke up to a large basket of vegetables sitting at our front door which was such a delight. Bonnie and her husband Jim swung by late in the morning to check on us and we ended up sitting down and having a wonderful chat. They told us about the 160 year history of the farm as a Homestead that had been in Bonnie‘s family for the entire time. It was such a treat and we were so grateful for their time.
For anyone who enjoys the history of land and is OK with staying on a working farm, this place is such a gem! The location right in Boulder County is so convenient to so many local attractions yet feels like a world away. Yes the farm roads may be rutted, but they are well worth traveling. We hope to return, soon.

Serenity
It provided exactly what the campsite name Serenity implied, a quiet place to stay for two nights.
