Good place for area activities
The staff and the campground were great and kept up. It is next to a state highway but they have no control over that. Plan on running your air to drown out road noise. We used it to be close to Pike’s Peak, Cave of the Winds, and Garden of the Gods. The original site info stated 25’ but in the description said it would fit up to a 30’ camper. They communicated well and measured and said the drive was 25’ and backed toward a hill. Unfortunately there is a large split tree there and the one trunk was too low to back in. I had to back in at an angle over the fire pit. I wasn’t camping there as we were gone all day, slept there at night and gone again. This is the chance you take when you are finding a site, it was one of two available there when I booked. If you have a sprinter van or a camper under 11 feet tall, you should be fine. If you have kids they will have plenty to do

T-8 Tent Site
Overall, it was a nice stay, but this site was way too close to others. It wasn't nearly as private as I thought it would be. The campsite itself is nice with a pool.

Great place, would camp again!
Great campsite, free coffee, hot showers. Only downside is a lot of road noise, so I recommend ear plugs.
