We have 120 acres of hiking, biking and 4 wheeling just 30 minutes west of Pueblo. Experience the mountains from the gentle acreage with a beautiful canyon. Lake Pueblo is nearby, and just an hour or so to the Sandia Christos, Canyon City, Royal Gorge, Bishops Castle, Pueblo State Park and Greenhorn Mountain. Much of the campground is fenced providing safety for pets and children while also protecting the campers from wondering wildlife. We provide an outhouse area next to the campsites. We have a barn with kitchen, beds and bath that can be used under negotiations.Little Owl Canyon Campground has spectacular views of Pikes Peak, Wet Mountains and more. We are located on the steppes of Beulah Valley 25 miles west of Pueblo, making it a quick getaway for single, couples and groups. While visiting here you'll enjoy miles of trails to walk, hike, bike or 4 wheel, stargaze, and nature watch. We have all types of wildlife from small to big birds, jack rabbits, rabbits, deer, elk and the occasional cow. The campers can choose the sites that are available but we will not book more than 5 groups in the campground area per night.

Peace and views and QUIET!
This spot is a few miles north from one of the highways west out of Pueblo, and a few miles south of the other. It is so quiet…zero traffic noise at night! Huge relief after a week in the big city (P-town). Well, I guess if the chorus of night insects, birds and frogs disturbs your sleep it’s noisy…but then why the heck are you camping? LOL. Great spot, I’ll be back! Host very responsive on the phone and texting. (I couldn’t find the pit toilet at first LOL). Next time I’ll ask about hiking around the property. The views are surprisingly nice too….you can see Pikes Peak and the curve of the Front range, the Wet Mountain range, and even Lake Pueblo.

I was a little nervous at first, there was no address, just gps coordinates but my google maps had no problem finding it and the road to the campsites were easy to follow with the simple signs placed to the property. Suuuuper quiet up there!

The views are spectacular!
The views are second to none!! Sunsets are beautiful! Tom is fantastic. What a great guy! And the communication was very timely. The sites need a little tidying up. I’d recommend mowing a clear site area at each number. And I would clearly mark the path to drive on once inside the fenced in area. But overall, we enjoyed it! But you can see why we had mixed feelings.

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful!
This site is amazing! The hosts are very accommodating and friendly! They always have your safety and enjoyment in mind. I would only say that there is cactus on the ground so make sure you and your pups have shoes on. I will definitely come back and enjoy this beautiful site!

We loved tent camping here! Jen, the camp manager, was very friendly and welcomed us in to show us where the campsites were. We chose a beautiful one that had a perfect view of Pike’s Peak and the Wet Mountains. Perfect view of the stars and moon at night. Do your research ahead of time about any burn restrictions in Pueblo! They have a pit toilet and picnic table available to share among the campsites, and it was perfect having our pup there since the property is fenced in. Their pups were very sweet too, I’m glad our Mia was able to make some friends! We will be back, perfect weekend tent camping spot since we live a couple hours away! Great for group camping too, it would be SO fun to rent all 5 sites with friends for a weekend.
