This charming historic farm property was established in 1901 by the Derby family, now owed by Artists Amy and Joshua. It's a large, open, flat lot with giant trees all around, on a private half-acre just on the edge of historic Downtown Loveland, near the old Feed & Grain building and Artspace Artist Lofts. Dog friendly and secure with a tall wooden privacy fence. Tree swing, fire pit, picnic table, and comfortable seating area provided. With large trees for shade in the summer, the lot is south-facing for soaking up the warm sunshine from fall to spring. Shops, restaurants, bars, movie theater and axe-throwing downtown, all within walking distance. Old Fairgrounds Park has a playground, skatepark, trails along the river, and an off-leash dog park, just down the hill on Railroad Ave.Relax in this little downtown oasis. Tucked into a historic once-commercial corner of downtown Loveland, our 1901 farmhouse sits on the edge of a large yard. This space is very private and fairly quiet for a downtown location, with a tall wooden privacy fence, giant shade trees, an apple tree and mulberry trees, surrounding an open level site with grass and wood chips. Great for dogs! *We also have a dog and we will coordinate with you for our dogs to have separate times to run off-leash, and otherwise keep them leashed when outside together. Walk to all the shopping and eating and events in downtown Loveland, just a couple blocks north, or find the playground, farmer’s market, dog park, skate park, and walking and biking trails just a couple blocks south at Old Fairgrounds Park.

Peaceful downtown oasis

We had the absolute best two weeks here. Such a beautiful private spot, only minutes walk from downtown. Loveland is a great little town with plenty to explore. We particularly appreciated being able to have the dogs off the leash. Thank you so much for having us Amy and Joshua!
