Stunning
We loved staying on Arthur’s land it was perfect for us to get off the beaten path and enjoy viewing the stars and watching the gorgeous sunset. We loved Hartsel, there isn’t much but it’s just beautiful. We will never forget this gorgeous place!

This is a fantastic site with plenty of flat spots to pitch a tent! Our dogs loved running around the property, the log benches around the fire pit were a great touch, and on clear nights you get a wide open view of the sky for stargazing. We were even lucky to catch a glimpse of some northern lights which was really special! Sad we could only stay for one night but hope to be back again, thanks for hosting a great site Arthur!
A note to fellow campers: please please PLEASE clean up after yourselves! There is no reason for anyone to be leaving behind used menstrual products, doggy poop bags, and other grossness anywhere, especially not on someone’s property when they are so kind to host campers! Let’s all do our part to leave places better than we found them so that everyone can continue to enjoy awesome sites like these (:

Great getaway!
Beautiful camping spot, close to many great recreational reservoirs! You’re a short jaunt to many nearby mountain towns. The spot felt secluded and was very peaceful.
Arthur was very responsive and helpful answering all of my inquiries!
I Will definitely keep this spot on the car camping list!

The Campsite
This campsite is gorgeous! The drive in takes you down some dirt roads (all easy - no problem for any vehicle) and the views are beautiful the whole way. When you get to the site, you drive up the hill and find yourself in a great spot with trees, rocks, and views of the mountains. There's a nice firepit, benches to sit on, and a perfect spot to set up a tent in the trees. I loved it, and definitely recommend it.
