Cozy Creek
Great property @ great location
This an amazing property at a great location. It is quiet, and peaceful. Shady but some area of clearance to get some sun and for your satellite to work. Nigel and his family were friendly and welcoming. We got to break bread with the family and had great conversation. Nigel came in to check up on us and make sure we didn't need anything and always available through message. Yet he gave us privacy. I would totally recommend it! There is low water pressure but it is a city issue he is trying to remedy. In the meantime you can fill your fresh tank and run your pump along with the water connection and will give you plenty of pressure. Also, if you have a big rig and not very good at driving you might want to skip this one. We have a 40ft 5th wheel and got it in but it took quite a bit of maneuvering. Nigel is working on improving this too.

"The Spot"
Spacious private wooded paradise
If you’re seeking quiet seclusion with modern convenience, look no further. This spot offers a huge space that is separated from the rest of the property which is set amongst towering ponderosa pines and has direct access to Greenhorn creek less than 10 paces from camp. You will also have full hookups and high quality internet across the property, great for those working remotely. The host family is attentive, friendly, energetic and kind. They can provide great recommendations for activities of all sorts in the area, food recommendations, and provided great company for us when our paths crossed. The weeds were whacked, and we were able to borrow some yard tools to keep us busy outdoors. You’ll see stunning mountain views featuring endless deer that appear 10 feet away from you at all hours of the day. You’ll also be treated to a wide variety of birds and potential visits from brown bears and grey foxes. There are high class hiking trails very close to camp and plenty of space for riding bikes, neighborhood walks, and scenic drives. We arrived ahead of schedule, stayed through our reservation, and extended beyond. Each change was easy to make, and we still don’t want to leave. This place is truly a gem, we cannot wait to come back.

Rye Beach (Red Cabin)
Lovely private cabin!
I really enjoyed my stay here! I came here looking to relax and get away from people for a few days, and that's exactly what I got. Nigel's house is fairly close to the cabin, but once you're settled in, it's very quiet, and feels like you have the area to yourself (except for the chickens and the wildlife, which are delightful to see). The hangout spot by the creek is a wholly soothing place to sit and read, or just watch the water with a cup of coffee in the morning. The cabin itself is very clean, and Nigel and family impeccably respect your privacy. There were a couple of hiccups upon check-in, but Nigel took care of them right away--the hosts are clearly highly conscientious, and they want to make sure you enjoy your stay. I would definitely go back!

"The Spot"
Fast WiFi in the woods!
I couldn’t believe that I found such a secret and private space, that had full hookups and WiFi that hit >50bmps down and >20mbps up - I was able to do video calls all day and hang outside. Nigel is awesome and really friendly and interesting. Has a background in tech and we talked about startups and construction of Camping properties. Would love to go back!
