The yurt sits on the top half of our 4-acre property. Immediately adjacent to the yurt is 157 acres of Denver Mountain Park's open space for you to enjoy. Feel free to explore the land and find some of our favorite spots to hike to. The yurt is in our backyard which has some playground equipment and a bouldering wall you're welcome to use.Welcome to our charming off-grid yurt, a rustic haven nestled in the heart of nature. If you're an adventurous family or couple seeking a unique getaway, our yurt is the perfect destination. *Please note* there is a steep, 0.2-mile hike in. This is not a drive-up yurt. **Accommodation:** Our cozy yurt comfortably sleeps four with the use of a pull-out floor mattress and offers a one-of-a-kind experience. You'll find a warm, inviting atmosphere with all the essentials for a memorable stay. This is truly glamping, and priced accordingly: There are no showers, the bathroom is a self-contained outhouse, and the sink is a pump-operated 5-gallon jug. But if you're comfortable warming your own water for dishes and foregoing WiFi, this is the perfect retreat for a couple's getaway or to start writing the next great American novel. The yurt features solar power to keep your devices charged and a wood stove with stocked firewood to keep you toasty during the winter months. **Location:** Located just minutes from the picturesque Evergreen Lake, you'll have the best of nature at your doorstep. Hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts will be in paradise, with numerous trails nearby to satisfy your adventurous spirit. Climbers will enjoy the climbing and bouldering at nearby Aldefer-Three Sisters Park. Plus, the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater is just a short 20-minute drive away, offering an unforgettable concert and entertainment experience. **Amenities** Kitchen- Our well-equipped kitchen includes a propane stove for your cooking needs, running cold water, a gravity water filter for clean-tasting drinking water, and a cooler stocked with ice to keep your perishables fresh. Bathroom- While our yurt is off-grid, we provide modern comfort with an outhouse featuring a flushing toilet just a few steps away. Outdoor Living- Step out onto the deck and be captivated by the breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness. Sip a glass of wine as you watch the sunset over the mountains, or start your day with a cup of coffee while taking in the serene beauty of nature. Comes stocked with - Board games, adventure books, a French press, snowshoes, snow sleds, dishes, and linens. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The yurt requires a short but steep hike in. You'll be parking along our driveway and hiking on our "yurt trail" just under 0.2 miles up the hill to the yurt. Keep this in mind when you're deciding what to bring along. Wear good shoes! Although the yurt sits quite a ways from a busy road, you do hear some road noise. Neighbors up the hill are not visible, but we do ask that you respect the quiet mountain environment and keep noise levels down. Unsurprisingly, yurt walls are not sound-proof! Fire safety: We do not allow outdoor fires, given the high fire risk of this area. If you start a fire indoors, please make sure you do not leave it unattended and do not leave the door open. Please do not allow children to play with the fireplace.

Perfect getaway not that far away!

We loved this yurt! I joined one of my best girl friends from Oklahoma , and I flew in from Nashville, and it was the perfect stay! Close to Evergreen, but It felt like its own world. Jason was super responsive even invited us for fajitas with his family and friends one evening, was actually a wonderful feeling knowing they were right down the property if we needed anything. But secluded at the same time. Wonderful bed, wonderful stay, answered all questions promptly! Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend! Awesome for a girls trip to check out and “check in” arts and crafts, painting, yoga, reading in the evenings, hike, kayak and tour around during the day! Wonderful to crash and hang in a cozy, lovely safe and clean space! So grateful For the time spent there!

We had a girl trip. We loved this Yurt experience. Easy to find. Close to town. Get a great hike on the way up to the yurt. Their house is right down the hill from the yurt so it felt safe since it was just us two ladies staying together. We had picnics on the picnic table and journaled. Did a few hikes around the area. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

Woodland escape

Beautiful spot, feels remote despite only 10 min from lovely Evergreen. We had sunny and rainy weather, and it’s a great space for both. Very comfortable for the 3 of us, and bonus access to a trampoline for our son (thanks Jason). Forest setting perfect for wildlife spotting, squirrels, deer, and eagles. Will definitely be back. Looks like a great wood burner, so will be trying out a winter trip.

Perfect glamping experience!

What a perfect location and space for a getaway! The yurt was perfectly appointed, beautiful, and peaceful. We happened to stay during a heat wave, but that’s beyond anyone’s control. The hosts were gracious and the temperature in the yurt was fine by evening time.

We had a wonderful stay in your guy's yurt!! We will definitely be coming back sometime!! We left a note in your pad. I meant to leave a sticker in there to check out my band on Spotify or whatever ya have but i forgot to leave it. We are called "Strictly Herbal" Much love! Tucker and James

We had a great time at Jason's yurt. The yurt was clean and had everything we needed. Close to town but feels completely secluded in nature. We loved relaxing on the little patio most of all. Jason was very responsive and helpful for anything we needed. Would definitely stay again. *Just as an fyi for families with small kids, the land is a little steep for adventurous tots. Our almost 1 1/2 year old couldn't quite wander around freely. But our 4 year old has a blast!!
