Sunrise
Extraordinary time
Such a lovely and secluded place! Such wonderful vines from the owners as well as the property. Would highly recommend if you want to get out and have a nice adventure, the sunrise lodge definitely loved up to its name! Definitely plan on coming back and enjoying more of what the hosts and property have to offer :)
Sunrise
I personally enjoyed our stay. There were a few surprises for my friend that might be helpful to detail on the listing:
- drive time to Santa Cruz is 50min. Long mountain and dirt road with limited reception to get to the cabin
- dry toilet
- need to walk around the cabin to access the shower
- spiders and spider webs everywhere inside the cabin
- no key, host said it’s safe we didn’t have issues
otherwise cabin is as per pictures, cozy

Vista
I camped at the Vista with my camper van. It was amazing! The views are fabulous. Elena Is a wonderful hostess. I enjoyed walking the labyrinth. The campfire at night and the stars make it avtruly magical place. Don’t let the drive you off. It is well worth going up the bumpy roads!

Cob Cottage
Beautiful cottage—even better than described! Very cute touches and a stellar view. The drive up is a bit rough, and the property does kind of have a strange feel to it. Overall though, I felt safe and the place was gorgeous.

Medicine Wheel
Medicine Wheel is a beautiful, secluded camping area overlooking the Santa Cruz mountains. We very much enjoyed our stay! We would definitely come again. Next time, we’ll be sure to say hi/share a meal with some of those WWOOFing on Elena’s land.

Medicine Wheel
This place was so magical. First of all the views are stunning and watching the sunset here was something special. I enjoyed communing with the goats and chicken and exploring all the little areas around the property like the Labyrinth… we were lucky enough to cross paths with Monique who lives on. The farm and after learning how cob is made we were invited to join in on a ceremony in the sweat lodge. Truly something special . Everyone was so friendly and had amazing energy. Will definitely be going back! We loved our camp at medicine wheel it was private and it was nice to disconnect from the world and enjoy some sun and nature.
