We are a women-owned and operated off grid homestead and 22-acre farm located in the secluded hills of Southern Humboldt County. Our camping spots have spectacular views of the valley and its wildlife. We are located right on Salmon Creek for a refreshing dip in one of our swimming holes or just lounging by the creek and listening to the waters flow. We are just 20-30 minutes away from Miranda/Garberville for shopping and other activities and close to the Redwoods National Forest. We are happy to share our harvested vegetables and fruits with you in season and carry several local items for your consideration.Enjoy your private little house with fenced backyard, fit pit, barbecue, sunroom, wood stove, full kitchen, and an open bedroom/sitting room with patio. You can sit in the sunroom and listen to the creek [go for a swim] or wander our 22 acres. Work space with StarLink Internet. 20 minutes to town for good eats and shopping. We offer a honor bar of local wines and spirits and other local fare payable when you are done with your visit. We can also stock your small refrigerator with local eggs and are happy to bake pastries and bread for you at request. Close to Redwood forests and the beach is less than an hour away. Pet friendly pending a conversation with your hosts.
