Relaxing spot, welcoming hosts
We enjoyed our stay and will be back. Well thoughtout sites and bathhouse area. We appreciated meeting our host Shay and he gave us lots of fun things to check out. Wish we had more time but we'll just have to go back. We enjoyed looking at the stars and could see the milky way which was spectacular!

The facilities were good. Great fire pit and having hot water at the restrooms was great.

Glamping in the Mendocino highlands
One of the best HipCamps ever. High-style toilets and showers much to our taste, free firewood a plus, and more than our fill of fresh blackberries!
Location perfect. Out of town but near Mendocino, adjacent redwood forest trails magnificent, and we hiked to the beach and back.
Hosts sweet, the kind of people you want to support.

Fantastic experience!
Our first Hipcamp, and after Waterfall, we are worried that everything else will pale in comparison! Incredibly thoughtful camp set up that includes everything you need, from soaps to firewood. It doesn't get any easier than this. Great toilet and shower facilities and the hosts are fantastic. Also great location between Mendocino and Fort Bragg, great mountain bike trials and easy access to a beach 2 miles away. Can't wait to come back!

Shay and Liz have put in a lot of thought and effort into setting up their campsites. Both stopped by to chat and make sure that everything was going ok. You can tell that they work hard to make the overall experience enjoyable. Each site has a firepit with adirondack chairs with blankets. There isn't any cell coverage where they're located but they have wifi set up if you need to stay connected. They also have a picnic table and deck area with a sink set up at each location. Overall, a lot of nice touches.
Their location is also pretty ideal. They're just outside the north boundary of the park so you can get to the waterfall in about a mile from the campground. You're also inland enough to get out of the heavy fog and get a bit of sunshine but close enough to easily get down to the ocean if you want.

Beautiful property, the sites had everything we needed between the fire pit and well-appointed sink station. The waterfall is a short hike away, easy to do with young kids. Loved our stay here!
