Incredible valley views. Your personal campsite is a very large area with a new underground fire pit, hammock station, a picnic table that seats 6. There is a pass-through driveway that leads up to your site off Sunway Drive. You have 3 acres of land to enjoy and roam and hike in the surrounding areas. You'll have great cell phone reception and 5G connections. Social media and phone calls will be easy at any time. Please be very respectful of the grounds and be very cautious with campfires and smoking. Guest access: There is only ONE way to access the site so please follow the directions exactly. GPS will take you to a route that is not vehicle accessible. You will drive through a residential neighborhood before entering the forest property. Please drive slowly and respectfully. Other things to note: Please pack your trash and take it with you. We do not provide trash cans or bins to avoid scavenging animals and the winds scattering trash. IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have a self-contained toilet system. Please pack out all your own waste. Thank you! 4-wheel drive is recommended but regular cars, up to 30 foot RVs, can access by taking it slow. Low-ground sports sedans access without issue. Please be mindful and understand your vehicle's limits. Parking is available on the campsite itself leading up the driveway. Animal friendly! We love your animal companions. Awesome location for some R&R
We loved staying on this property and was exactly the kind of remote location we needed to relax. I prefer this over staying in the park where you have campers right next door. This slice of heaven is situated in a nice little Joshua Tree lined “valley”. David has set this site up with a well marked, level surface. The site has a really well made fire pit, and hammock posts. Once I booked through Hipcamp, David quickly reached out with a welcoming text and specific details and directions. I was very impressed by the whole experience from booking ‘til leaving the site. We will be back to this spot for sure. Oh, one thing to note, you have to remember that this is a lot on a remote, dirt road so residents tend to get around (and have fun) with their dune buggy type vehicles. This might bug some people, but we thought it was cool.

Good stay
Place was hidden enough away. Its close enough to town for things if needed. During our stay it wasn’t as private as we would have liked with lots of tragic right next to camp late at night and a neighbor off in the distance shining bright lights into our camp and also flashing lights.. but I’m not sure that’s an issue always just during our stay it seemed oddly busy with cars and lots of off road vehicles late at night.

Relaxing stay under the stars
What a gorgeous location! We followed the directions and found the campsite. We were surrounded by Joshua Trees and felt like we were the only ones there. Such a lovely set up with level parking, a picnic table, a large fire pit and even poles set up for a hammock! The fire pit was deep for a safe campfire. We loved the steady breeze and the fire was safely contained. Very quiet and serene at night with plenty of stars. Perfect for a good night’s sleep and a relaxing stay and convenient to the park. We will definitely be back!

Private and peaceful
We had a great time camping at this secluded spot with Joshua trees and quail all around. The fire pit was nice and big and picnic bench was in good condition. No toilet , no problem. Just bring a bucket with kitty litter. I would definitely come back again.

We loved it!
This site is well prepared for the campers. Nicely made picnic table and fire pit also the perfectly flat land for the trailer. We've never seen other peoples while camping. The driving instruction was perfect.
