Heavily wooded 27 acres with a year-round babbling creek that cascades in waterfalls (one is a 25-foot drop!) across the property. During the rainy season the various waterfalls show off in dramatic fashion! Add to the magical sounds and marvelous setting a small Christmas tree grove, a smattering of goats and chickens, and two playful livestock guardian dogs who will become your best friends. Relax under the night stars, hike/bike the Sierra Nevada trails, or pop into a nearby winery with friends. OHV or horseback riding is also available along with river rafting during the summer months. You are limited only by your imagination!

Good price for one night!

Best of three hipcamps I've stayed at. Good vibes, waterfalling still flowing a bit, good place to just hangout for a night. Recommend checking out whitewater rafting nearby; some of the most legit in America.

Mountain Knoll Campsite

I loved camping at Brenda’s and Brad’s tent campsite! Without a doubt, one of the best places I’ve stayed at. My kids got to see all the farm animals PLUS a deer! Beautiful scenery and lots of blackberries to pick. Bathroom and property were very clean. Most importantly, we loved the privacy!

Waterfall Shire Platform w/GLAM BR

The grotto was a nice hide away from the heat! We enjoyed the sound of the waterfall at night, really relaxing! Having the bathroom and the outdoor shower was also nice to have during our stay there. Definitely plan for mosquitoes because we didn’t think about that, overall a very nice get away from the city!

Mountain Knoll Campsite

The best waterfall getaway!!

We loved our stay at the campsite on Bras and Brenda's property! Our crew enjoyed saying hi to all the animals (goats, chickens, pups, and ducks!!), taking a dip in the waterfalls, and even got lucky enough to enjoy some fresh eggs in the morning. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway!

Waterfall Shire Platform w/GLAM BR

My friends and I enjoyed our time at Brenda’s and Brad’s Waterfall platform. Very unique place with a beautiful view. We went to the Folsom lake during the day to swim and paddle board and spent evenings at the platform interacting and watching stars at night. Having a summer shower was a great addition during hot summer weekend, as well as having a place to hang out next to the waterfall. We hope to be back in the future. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and it was a great experience. Travelers get a chance to see farm animals and dogs next to the parking

Waterfall Shire Platform w/GLAM BR

Excellent host and camping site. Our family spent two very happy nights. Beautiful environment and very quiet. Brad helped us deliver our things to the camping site and was very enthusiastic and friendly. Highly recommended camping site.
