Get away from the city and get dusty on our beautiful 2.5 acre dreamland. The Sunrise is a bare bones, clean and simple vintage trailer with a bed and storage. There are battery lights but no electricity or hook ups. Live like a yesteryear vaquero- make a fire, stargaze, and be zen. Amenities include an outhouse, a simple changing room/solar shower, picnic table and fire pit. Listen for the coyotes and search out the jackrabbits.The Sunrise Sanctuary is our little slice of heaven in North Joshua Tree. The property is located a quick 15 minute drive into Joshua Tree town, the Saloon and the main entrance to the park. At our property you'll enjoy peace and quiet, starry nights, and breathtaking sunrises. The trailer is very simple and clean and features one double bed inside. There is no electricity or hookups so bring your camping gear. We are happy for you to bring a few friends to tent camp on the property with you, but there is only indoor accommodation for two guests. There's an outhouse and a basic solar shower/changing room (BYO water). You'll supply your own bedding and pillowcases, give the Sunrise a quick once over before you leave and please pack out your trash.

The owners showed tremendous hospitality. They keep the trailer well-stocked with basic supplies and also provide water for the solar shower and even offered to provide additional firewood. They were great hosts!

There’s a Grocery Outlet nearby for anything you may have forgotten. I enjoyed the fire pit.

great spot.. has trouble sleeping because of the rattle from the blinds, when the window was open. Perhaps that's why I dreamt of a man trying to drive me off to another realm in my sleep. Sleep paralysis contributed to a very spooky night under the stars.

My stay went great! The description of the camp is accurate, camper and outhouse were clean. Short drive to nearby restaurants and dirt road isn’t too bad. Definitely recommend if you don’t need much, I will be back!

Vintage Desert Heartbreaker
What a quaint trailer with the cutest details. We were visiting during the hot sizzling sun and I had sunglasses that when I immediately saw the trailer, brought me back in time! I love the colors and the proximity to the Shangri-La property next door, its perfect for having groups right next door to each other. Note there is not any amenities such as a kitchen, but the outdoor shower and outhouse were great, as well as the provided wood for the picnic area in the back!
