We were on our way to the site and our host had to cancel last minute. She said there was an emergency which is totally understandable and I believe that there was one. However I have reached out to her several times to get a refund and I haven’t heard anything back. This is not acceptable
We had a great time here. It really felt Robin was welcoming us into her home. The place has a quirky, religious/spiritual vibe, but most importantly it feels like an oasis. The hot tubs are nice and the pool is surprisingly cold. We used this as our base camp to enjoy some local hikes and a trip to Joshua Tree NP (about an hour away).
If you're looking to have a large rowdy party, this isn't the place for you! If you are looking to escape everything that has been hurting you for weeks and weeks at work driving you crazy and making you feel closed in and you want to free your soul have a moment to really enjoy peace and tranquility then this is the place to go our host is like family her ranch is like the home you never had and you wished you could stay out forever! You will love it as much as we do we are sure! We can only hope to be able to enjoy many more visits at the medicinal water ranch hip camp!
What an incredible oasis! I slept under a full moon and awoke to a red Mt. San Jacinto in all of it's incredible glory. The grounds are extensive and peaceful. The facilities offer anything anyone would ever want, including the best mineral soak after a hike up MSJ! Thank you, Robin!
Robin kept in contact with me during my arrival, even though it was late at night, to ensure I wouldn't have any problems finding the entrance. Robin guided me to where I would be staying the night and then through the property, so I would know where to find anything I may need.
It looks just like the photos. All the facilities were not simply operational, they were just waiting for you to take advantage of them (i.e. hot tubs were hot and bubbling). I felt completely comfortable - I'm guessing due to the perfect balance Robin has found in her ornamental decorations paired with the emaculate cleanliness of the ranch. It gave me a feeling of welcome homeliness that I knew would be what I would miss most when leaving.
Relaxing, beautiful, an oasis in the desert.
What a great host Robin is! She was welcoming and warm. We were camping in our van, but she offered us the run of the main house, with access to showers, towels, kitchen, since we were the only ones there.
If you want a comfortable glamping trip, this is for you. We will certainly come back. Elegant and eclectic decor. The property is well maintained, green and clean, despite being in the desert!
Because of the Covid surge and the optional mask wearing rule, we were just more cautious and so didn’t take full advantage of the mineral tubs. We will, next time!
