Welcome to The Healing Place! Before you book, please BE kind, respectful, sorry NO pets or service animals and please read the entire listing. We have 20 magical acres in beautiful rural McCloud with The Dome right on the creek. With the creek as your view, you’ll have privacy and many acres to roam. This is sacred land, and we hold many events here on this property such as CE5, Spirit Photography and Drum circles. We will let you know ahead of time if there will be an event when you book. We usually host them on the new moon and on a weekend. Loads of wildlife roam these lands so be prepared to see bear, coyote, deer, fox and many species of birds including a Heron live down by the creek. Be mindful of not keeping any food in your car and making sure to place it in the fridge inside the dome. We have a medicine wheel, sacred circle in the meadow across the dome, we usually host our CE5 events there. We are 6 miles away from the McCloud reservoir, 15 mins from McCloud Falls, 5 mins from the town of McCloud and 20 mins to Mount Shasta. The Dome sleeps 2 adults, has electric, 2 bed side lamps that charge phones, with a pillow top mattress, soft cozy linens, a fireplace, a kitchen bar with hot water kettle, a french press, decanter with healing waters from the Shasta forest, a dining table set, coat rack, and a hammock. Please remove your shoes upon entering the dome, you may want to place them on the coat rack to the right of the door rather than leave them outside as it’s safer. We do not have a cook top stove, or microwave , it’s best to plan to eat out as it’s safer and we don’t get trash service here, I cart it all out myself. Bringing snacks totally ok and can go in the fridge. There’s no fires of any kind that we can allow here so no bbq or cooking. We know all the good spots and will gladly share them. Text me if you need anything, I’m happy to help. The Composting toilet is one of the best on the market, called Natures Head. It’s located outside of the dome for privacy in a king camp tent with everything b you’ll need inside. It’s super easy to work and believe it or not, not so bad to use. Directions are inside the restroom but I’ll relay the important here. NOTHING but #2 goes inside the trap door, no liquid or tp at all as it throws off the compost and I have to clean it all out after someone doesn’t use it properly. The outdoor shower is located near the main home, but built into the forest and private. Signs are posted so you’ll see where to go. We like to give guests what we would want to experience, and it turned out pretty fantastic. The hot water lasts 20 mins and heats up fast. Please keep all shower products naturally based as we are eco friendly and holistically based. Shampoo, conditioner, Body soap will be provided for you here. Note! There are bugs, There are wildlife, this is a glamping experience so please know that when you book, you will know what you’re getting. Although this is luxury glamping it’s still glamping! We placed diatomaceous earth around the dome to help as it’s safe, food grade and non toxic. We aren’t able to have ANY fires on the property, none. Can’t make any exceptions, we’re sorry. That means no bbqing, no smoking on the property. This place is meant to be shared, with nature lovers, conscious creators and spiritual wanderers. Welcome.Welcome to The Healing Place!  Before you book, please BE kind, respectful, sorry NO pets or service animals or kids under 12 and please read the entire listing. It’s getting chilly at night so the price has been dropped. The Healing Dome
What an incredible spot!!! This dome is extremely special. It's well tended to, comfortable and spacious, and nestled next to lovely creek and on beautiful land. Jami was very responsive and available when I needed anything, and I truly got to have the privacy I was looking for to connect to nature, myself & Spirit. Very easy to get to Mt. Shasta's incredible spots from here, while also feeling tucked away to have my own solo ceremony retreat. 100% recommend this magical healing place! Such a gem. I am forever grateful for my time here.

The Healing Dome
Romantic, private, and peaceful
This place is truly amazing. We were blown away by the stars, the creek, the view of Mt. Shasta, and the coziness of the dome. We had the most perfect private night as two women on our honeymoon. We would come back here in a heartbeat!!!

The Healing Dome
Relaxing & Welcoming
The highlights for me were lying in the hammock in the dome while looking and listening to the creek, lying in bed looking up at the geometric domo, and the outdoor shower under the magnificent trees! So much land and extremely quiet. Jamie was a very welcoming host, and very responsive. Thank you!!!

The Healing Dome
Wonderful glamping hideaway
The Healing Place was probably the best Hipcamp or Airbnb I have ever stayed in! I’d never been in a dome before and it had a really cool feel with one side of it clear to see outdoors. The location was set away from the house so it felt private, and was right next to a sweet little creek. The interior was incredibly well appointed and thoughtful. It had everything needed and it was good quality too. The hammock and pillow were so relaxing and the bed - don’t even get me started - it was plush and soft and had the softest blankets, which made for such a cozy experience on a chilly night. The outdoor shower was fantastic. The toilet was a fancy composting toilet. I woke up to deer grazing outside the dome. And to top it off, Jami was super responsive and communicative. I would absolutely stay there again.
