Welcome to my home: My Dad moved here when I was 4, and lived here til he passed away, so this land is very special to me. I've been rebuilding the structures and pouring my heart and soul into it since September of 2019, and I'm very proud of how far it's come. It's definitely a labor of love, and I truly believe I'll be making additions here for the rest of my life. People have been camping in the meadow in the summers since the 1950's, and I'm happy to carry on the tradition, by opening it up to you. There was a fire on the property in 1901 which cleared out the forest and left the burnt out stumps which you'll see by the shower. There's one old growth redwood on the property, behind the glampy tent, but everything else in roughly 120 years old. EXTRAS: If I'm around, I can show you the trails on the property. Extra blankets and towel rentals are available for a small fee, when available.I have a 12 x 14 ft glampy tent in a redwood forest, with a queen size bed inside, sheets, comforter, four pillows, a heater, a dehumidifier, light, table with chairs, mirror and a rack for clothes.  The tent is located in my meadow, which is also where the garden is located.  PARKING: Please park on the wood chips and do not drive past the wood branch semi circle. SHOWER: The outdoor shower is located half way between the tent and the blue house. To turn the shower on, make sure the red light is off, and look for the red knob below the silver colored gas heater. Turn the water on and then flip the on/off switch beneath the silver heater. You should hear clicking while the heater ignites. Please make sure you've fully shut off the red knob when done. If it's not fully shut, it will leak water.  I love my shower! It gets steamy, I have candles and crystals out, I love it. However, it's very tempermental, so please don't mess with it. If it stops working, let me know immediately so I can fix it for you. HEAT: There is a heater in there which is great and normally warms it up pretty quick. But if you’re cold and need extra blankets, please let me know. Also, keeping the dehumidifier on while you’re gone will make sure it’s warm and dry when you get back at night. GARDEN LIGHT: There are lights going around the perimeter of the garden, and a little greenhouse there, which you are welcome to hang out in. To turn on the garden lights, plug in the brown cord at the electrical box. TRASH: Due to bears, I will only be taking recycling from now on. Please pack out the rest of your trash. FIRES: There's a fire pit, and tons of kindling in the forest, but please keep fires small. Please do not use the wood in the wood shed for fires. This is wood I have cut, bought and gathered to keep my house warm. There are bundles of cut trees and branches by the parking area which you are welcome to use for your fire. There is a fire extinguisher in the greenhouse for emergencies. DOGS: Please do not book this site if you plan on bringing a large dog and not taking care of it. If you bring a dog, I would like them to be leashed at all times, not left barking unattended, and their poop picked up. SMOKING POLICY: No smoking or vaping of any kind are allowed in the tent. You will be charged a fee of $100 if this rule is not followed.

Woodsy Escape
Great, cozy space! The area felt very private and unique, and gave us a great escape while on a roadtrip throughout the area. Very close access to town when we needed supplies, while also feeling off the beaten path. Thanks!

We loved it at the tent site. Everything from tent, bed, shower and toilet was clean and comfortable. Location is great as well. Please keep in mind that the Wi-Fi is not available in the tent and there is no cellular network in the area.

Kimberly's fairy glamping tent was so pretty! My group got there late and Kimberly was very helpful for giving directions and communicative. I would love to go back again! The tent was very comfy and the heater kept us nice and toasty!
