Yurt 2: With Cowboy Pool

The campsite is located in a beautiful desert surrounding. We stayed 2 nights at Yurt #2 and on both days we witnessed some unbelievable colors during sunsets, moon rises, and sunrises and some magnificent constellations once the sky has darkened. The unit itself has a very comfortable queen size bed and 2 foldable mattress with pillows and sleeping bags. All 4 of us slept very well. There were only 2 restroom units, one for each gender. We were there on weekdays and there were only 2-3 other campers so we never had to wait for bathrooms. But I reckon during peak period, there could be a line to access them. The bathroom unit itself is very clean. The outdoor shower has hot water with soap, shampoo & conditioner provided. If you're planning to cook during your stay, you might want to know that there wasn't any dishwashing station onsite. We knew about it in advance, so we brought along a collapsible bucket to fill up with water from the spigot for dish washing. There was also no picnic table outside the tent, so if you're planning to cook on the camping stove you'll need to bring your own table or just set up on the ground. Other than those couple of minor things, our family had a great time and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for some glamping near Joshua Tree

Guard Tower Suite #2 with Pool

Guard Tower House

We spent our 15 year anniversary here and loved staying at the Guard Tower house! It was so much fun, the ambiance was amazing, the architecture there and the way the land was put together was beautiful! We will definitely be back .

The site visually stunning. The owner was nice but the staff lacked flexibility and hospitality skills. We also paid for firewood but never received it.

We loved car camping at the Castle House Estate! Especially taking a dip in the pool right at sunset. The vibes were immaculate and the amenities are thoughtful and practical. Highly recommend - and we’ll be back!
