These homestead cabins were part of the original Homestead Act of 1862 to populate the American frontier, the Wild Wild West. San Bernardino County sold off 5-acre properties at a low cost so long as the purchaser would improve the land. Many city families purchased these properties as an escape. A little Americana at your finger tips.
With a few modern amenities in the cabin, we preserved the simplicity of living in it and the original size. The surrounding nature has been untouched and always allows us to reset. Your linens will be ready for you to set up your "camp" at night.
