This is a private glamping spot in a redwood grove. We have a cozy dome with a mini kitchen and a bathroom with water and a shower and an incinerator toilet. It is so peaceful. Located 1 mile from Alice’s restaurant in Woodside. Perfect for people cycling through or families visiting the beaches nearby.Come relax in a totally private redwood grove. It is a peaceful place to unplug and relax. Our private site is also great for people traveling through or couples and families looking for an easy camping experience. Our geodesic dome is insulated and has space heaters for the winter. Outdoor hammock and fire pit and dining area including a gas grill for outdoor relaxing. King bed with luxe bedding for a cozy comfortable sleep. Queen air mattress as for kids or extra guests. In front of the parking there is a painted shipping container that is positioned to ensure privacy of the dome site. We have a ring camera pointed at the parking space so we can see when guests check in and out. This camera cannot see anything other than the parking on site. The site has a private porta potty toilet that is serviced and clean. The site also has a private hot water shower with all natural body wash, face wash, tooth paste and shampoo and conditioners for you to use. There is a fresh water dispenser in the dome as well as a mini bar with fun camping snacks. Absolutely no wood fires, charcoal grills, smoking, vaping on site. We have a gas grill and gas fire pit. Please use responsibly. We are in a high fire risk area. Nearby there is amazing hiking, horse back riding, great dining etc. Let us know if you'd like recommendations! There is no TV on site but we have WiFi and a projector you can hook your phone up to to stream from any services you subscribe to. WiFi is satellite and can be spotty when there are clouds blocking or rain etc. It mostly works fine though and is super fast.

My family and I had such a comfortable stay!! Meghan’s clear instructions on getting there and guest expectations/rules etc made everything so easy! We loved all the thoughtful family friendly touches in the dome like the board games, toys,bug spray,flashlights, and projector to name a few! We will definitely be coming back for another staycation.

Secluded vacation in the forest

Our stay at Meghan’s dome was beautiful and peaceful 😊. The location itself was very easy to find. Once we reached, we were presented with a spacious, well-lit dome with everything you’ll ever need for a wonderful glamping experience inside! Outside the dome, there is a furnished patio deck to relax in. The shower was a luxury we have not experienced in most hipcamps that we enjoyed thoroughly. Towards the back, two chairs with a gas-lit fire place. Meghan was very communicative and responsive throughout our trip. We would love to stay again sometime!

My husband and I loved our stay! Everything was so cozy, the bed was SO comfortable. So many details were thought out to make this place home away from home. The instructions were all very clear and easy to follow, and Meghan was very communicative and had great local recommendations! Will definitely be back!
