NOTE: From mid-October through mid-April, only the A Frame site is available. Our tents are seasonal for the warmer months :) Soak in a cedar hot tub and Renu cold plunge nestled in an oak grove, then sleep in our A Frame or one of our two luxurious yurt-like tents. Venture into the clearing with open skies for truly amazing starry views at night. It's a peaceful retreat surrounded by pines and oaks, yet is still less than 15 minutes from the historic Gold Mining towns of Nevada City and Grass Valley. A composting toilet is housed in a beautiful, well maintained outhouse and a heated outdoor shower is located next to the hot tub and cold plunge. These as well as the hot tub/cold plunge area are shared between our two sites. PLEASE NOTE: While many guests have found each spot to feel private, it's important to mention that these are located in a large clearing behind our house. You'll have ample space and privacy, with the added convenience of having someone nearby if you need anything. So relaxing
It was absolutely beautiful and I loved the little features and thoughtful details of the A frame. I paid extra for the bedding which was so cozy. The hosts went the extra mile with creating quick videos on how to use the wood burning stove and I loved making my fires each morning. Not to mention the cedar hot tub was amazing at the end of a cold day hike!

Staying on Ellie + Jack’s land was truly magical! The A-Frame is so cute and was the perfect experience for us. The hosts were super helpful in making sure we knew how to operate the stove to warm the cabin and to make sure we had everything we needed! The hot tub was a big plus, and the property felt like a nice, quiet fall wonderland. We spent a lot of time in downtown Nevada City, which was easy to drive to from the cabin. It really was a perfect autumnal trip!

Unreal spot! Our weekend stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend!

A Perfect Mini Retreat
My partner and I had a wonderful weekend at the A Frame! Ellie + Jack are fabulous hosts; they made sure we were comfy and they communicated well. All the wonderful amenities made this trip stress-free, and any stress we did have melted away while stargazing in the hot tub. We lucked out and had the place to ourselves (the other 2 sites were not occupied) and it got me thinking how fun it would be to come with a larger group. Ellie + Jack had great suggestions for activities in the area, including the delicious Communal Cafe that we HAD to visit twice. Looking forward to a relaxing Girls' Trip in the future! :) Thank you!
