Our property boasts year round creeks, waterfalls, swimming holes, Madrones, Oaks, Douglas firs and manzanitas. Wild horses roam the land as well as the occasional mountain lion and black bear. On the human end we have an ancient walnut grove as well as many fruit trees two small ponds all in total privacy at the very end of the road. We also have a Sauna and outdoor bathtub and shower available for use. We are out a 9 mile dirt road and a 4X4 or all wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. Ask me about booking the whole place for a private event!

Beautiful and remote
We loved camping at Spirit Chicken Ranch. The property is beautiful, the outside shower and bath are so fun and the pond is wonderful to cool off during a hot day. We also enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. Thank you Chris.

Sauna, pond and horses!
While this location is quite a drive (clearly stated on description 9 miles in on dirt road), it’s a fantastic location with some truly unique amenities including well spaced out campsites, some with privacy, others great for groups. Communal kitchen area, bathrooms, sauna, a waterfall hike, and a little pond. There are even wild horses that come through to get a drink of water. Super fun and the host Chris is a rad and nice person. I’d avoid of the weather is super hot… but I’d jump at it for a couples or friends trip if getting off the grid (but still having WiFi and bathrooms is your goal).

Lovely property, way out in nature with no light pollution you can see stars bright. The sauna and shower are realllly nice. And the communal kitchen very convenient. It’s great that there’s natural water that far out but the waterfall and swimming hole were getting small this time of year. Still really beautiful. The dirt road is long but mostly chill until the end it gets pretty bumpy. And you’ll probably get to see some wild ponies come thru

We loved everything about our experience here. My favorite part is probably the outdoor bathtub & the outdoor shower. Highly recommended!
