Welcome to Saddle Mountain Ranch, RV and Campground! We are located on 89 acres of forest land off Carmel Valley Road, just 5 miles from HWY 1. Nestled within oaks, Monterey pines, and redwoods, Saddle Mountain offers a great family friendly getaway for those seeking a break from the bustle of life. PLEASE NOTE, our RV and tent sites are pet friendly but YOU MUST ADD THE PET FEE EXTRA WHEN MAKING YOUR BOOKING. Our glamping stays are NOT pet-friendly aside from one of our luxury tents. We charge $15 per pet and you can bring a maximum of 2 pets. On site seasonally heated pool (Mid May through Oct). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: *Please continue reviewing/monitoring California Travel guidelines as they may change and affect your reservation* On site seasonally heated pool (seasonally), private hiking trail, playground, Foosball table and more. No refund for inclement weather during the Winter months. We provide complementary Wi-Fi in designated areas of the park. Drive-in Tent/Van Site

The amenities at the site were great! Bathrooms and showers were clean (with hot water!), lots of games and activities. The site was also clean and had a grill, fire pit, and picnic table available for use. The area was nice and so was the view if you are in the higher up sites. Unfortunately, the sites are VERY close to each other. You can easily see and hear other people. In addition, it is very expensive for a camp site. Dogs cost extra, each additional person costs extra, and if you want more than 1 car it costs more as well. They only allow 2 cars per site. It's a really nice place but given the price and closeness to other sites I don't think I would come back. I think it just depends on what kind of camping you want to do!

Luxury Tent - Pet Friendly

Cozy stay at Beautiful Resort!

We had a great stay at SMR! The tent was comfy, clean, and had several lovely touches that made the stay special. The property was lively and well-run, with a great pool and excellent facilities.Our sunset hike up the trail at the top of the ranch was a highlight of our trip. Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well!

Site 4 - Luxury Tent

IMPRESSED!

Went for a couple getaway and was very impressed by the Luxury tent. Beds were so comfortable with heated blankets! Clean tent and clean grill. Would definitely come back.

Great campsite in a useful location

Lovely campsite at Saddle Mountain Ranch which they’ve setup really well. Amenities are all great and toilets / showers are clean and well presented. Super flexible with their approach to an issue we had with our vehicle and the prospect of having to checkout a little later. Recommend highly. Located close to a supermarket and only a short journey into Carmel.

RV Site Full Hookups - 30ft & Under

Prepare to be friendly

The facilities - pool, playground, hiking trail were nice, and the staff was polite. Overall, we had a good experience because our neighbors were very nice, and our kids played together happily. However, I felt like that was just lucky chance. We were practically inside of their campsite with them. There was a partial barrier of bushes between the back portions of our sites, but the middle was all open between us and they were no more than 6 feet from our front door. We had no picnic table when we arrived. The staff were kind enough to locate and bring us one, but it had to stay the whole time at the front end of our trailer because the space wasn’t even big enough to fit it in alongside.
