Welcome to Saddle Mountain, RV and Campground! We are located on 89 acres of forest land off Carmel Valley Road, just 5 miles from HWY 1. Nestled within oaks, Monterey pines, and redwoods, Saddle Mountain offers a great family friendly getaway for those seeking a break from the bustle of life. PLEASE NOTE, our RV and tent sites are pet friendly but YOU MUST ADD THE PET FEE EXTRA WHEN MAKING YOUR BOOKING. Our glamping stays are NOT pet-friendly aside from one of our luxury tents. We charge $15 per pet and you can bring a maximum of 2 pets. On site seasonally heated pool (Mid May through Oct). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: *Please continue reviewing/monitoring California Travel guidelines as they may change and affect your reservation* On site seasonally heated pool (seasonally), private hiking trail, playground, Foosball table and more. No refund for inclement weather during the Winter months. We provide complementary Wi-Fi in designated areas of the park. Partial Hookups Tent Site W/E

Wonderful Place to Stay!

Saddle Mountain was one of the best camping experiences we’ve had! The campground was very clean, quiet, had plenty of amenities, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was easy to find, and convenient to stores, restaurants, and local tourist attractions. We will definitely camp there again.

Walk-in Tent Site

Family Friendly

Saddle Mountain was a very lovely campground, geared toward families, and those looking for a camping experience with plenty of amenities. The campground was clean, organized, and well kept. I had a walk in campsite, which was only about 40 yards from my vehicle, and there was a nearby dishwashing station, which was very convenient. If you are new to camping, looking for a nice place to take a family, or prefer glamping, this is your spot.

Stellar campsites and very clean!

My husband and two toddlers stayed at SMR along with our parents, and we couldn't have been happier. Sure, it's more expensive than your average campsite. But it's an above average place to camp! The grounds and sites are kept super clean. We loved that there were spotless bathrooms and wash stations for our dishes. The playground was a great bonus with kids. Our site for our Sprinter van felt very private, despite there being many campsites on the property. We are already trying to plot when we can come back again.

Site 2 - Luxury Tent

We loved our stay here. It was a great getaway that was still very close to some great parks for hiking. The staff was very friendly as well.
