Shííma koh is a beautiful space nestled in the Aptos hills. We are 15 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from town, all whilst being surrounded by redwoods. It’s a quiet place with a beautiful view of the valley and natural spring water. We are a family with a few dogs and livestock who live here. And welcome you to our home.The plateau is a beautifully leveled campsite covered in wood chips for comfort. The plateau has a spectacular view of the valley. We are located between Aptos Hills and Watsonville. Only 10 minutes away from the nearest grocery store in either direction. This location is 20 minutes from the beach either direction. Here you will wake up to songbirds, a roster and goats grazing in the morning. By night you will be surrounded by a start sky and owls flying by. The ambience of shííma koh is nature centered with the conveniences of a compost toilet, hot shower and outdoor kitchen. Please bring your own fire wood or purchase some here. We charge 10$ per extra vehicle and offer $5 for Wi-Fi. Note* There is a semi steep dirt hill to access the amenities. Come prepared. And we apologize that we have yet to construct wheel chair access accommodations. We hope to always improve Shííma Koh for community access and accommodations.

Lovely little camp with hooting owls and beautiful stars. Lots of animals, like goats and chickens, which may wake you up with their noise, but it added to the charm for us. They also have several friendly dogs we met in the morning. Would recommend.

My favorite camping trip
Camping was the best (and I mean THE best). Everybody there was incredibly friendly and helpful. All of the animals were an absolute joy to be around and we loved watching and interacting with them whenever we got the chance. We would love to come back and camp here again in the future and I highly recommend others to also give it a shot. Thank you Ani!

Great spot, as described. Easy in and out. Beautifully set up camp. Very cool to have all the animals around. The best for the price we have stayed at.

Good Vibes on a freindly farm.
Enjoyed just "Being" there in mountain wood, watching the birds and the animals roam around, and views of the valley. So nice to be around animals again! If you have not spent much time around animals - yes they do make noise, but not constant. Better than traffic! The only animals that will come up to you are the dogs, and they are sweet. The others are fun to watch! I normally do not expect a shower and kitchen when camping, so this was a real treat! It is a little walk up hill. As a good happy camper, always be prepared. Great family/community feel. Hosts are wonderful! Thank you so much!

Great stay for kids!!
My 6yo wanted to stay longer because he so enjoyed hanging out with this family and their variety of animals. It is a bit noisy in the morning with the rooster and goat noises but I found it charming. This site has so much potential and you can see they have a vision for constantly improving their space. Lovely land and a beautiful family! We would definitely come again!

Owners are so so nice, the place has pretty much all the essentials you will need for camping, nearby to all the things you’d need, beautiful area, and well behaved animals all on the property (as well as very cute). 10/10 would recommend!
