There are Four RV Spaces with 30 Amp Hookup and water. Five campsites each with Fire rings and Non potable water (Fire Control) and potable water for camp sites on 27 acres surrounded by beautiful scenery, redwoods, mountains, and river. We have fast Starlink internet. Community kitchen with all the supplies, charcoal bbq, fireplace, picnic tables. Only 5 minutes from highway 101 and 10 minutes from the famous Avenue of the Giants. The roads to the property are all paved. We are a short drive to the river. The place is in the heart of the Redwoods, surrounded with National redwood parks. Historical towns Miranda, Ferndale, Eureka, and others. It is very quiet and peaceful up here, if you want a wonderful place to kick back, enjoy nature, and have an escape from the busy city life, this is the spot for you! You will be enchanted by visiting this area! Some of the most beautiful places on earth right here in the California Redwoods.

Very pleasant stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at this place. The site is clean, very spacious (since we were the only guests at the time) and the view is awesome. Realy quiet at night as wel.

Fun fun fun.

It was awesome. Hot shower. Clean. Brian showed me around. He was very helpful. Rapid fire WIFI. Quiet. I would definitely stay there again and I will on my return home probably Thanks Brian. Joe S

Relaxing spot near the big trees

Salmon Creek MV Retreat was a great spot to take our 20’ trailer. Actually a hidden gem and exactly what we were looking for when we downloaded the Hipcamp app. The property is on a big flat ridge with easy trailer turn around and parking space. Big metal shed/barns are on the property but don’t deter from the ambiance. Open field, horse properties, pond, mountain and big sky views. Many birds and other wildlife abound. Take note… Only 12 minutes from Miranda on a narrow rough paved road. Bring extra power cord and fresh water hose extensions for flexibility in setting up in the best spot. Sites are not all that level. #2 under the trees was a prefect location. Electrical, water, portapotty and fun outdoor shower are easy access. Miranda Market/Gas (great grocery store!) has a $13 OR with +$50 gas fillup free Dump Station. Close Redwood +-5 mile long day hike with some nice elevation gain is close by Miranda too. Combine Stephen’s Grove Loop with Dry Creek Trail. Enjoyed hanging out at the peaceful camp site and not driving far for some awesome river, big tree, hiking, rest and relaxing. Host and neighbors we met were great!

Majestic spot in the mountains

The land is majestic with views of rolling hills, deer, horse and the beautiful sky. The hosts are very accommodating and meet you on arrival to make sure you get set up. It’s always nice having full hook ups. They have an extra fridge for you to use in case you have a lot of food or beverages to store. There are many things to check out locally like the avenue of the giants, wineries and yummy food. We loved it!
