Saddle Up Ranch is a horse rescue that is ever growing. We have over 180 trees on the property (mostly beautiful flowing California Pepper Trees) and have gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and horse pastures. We offer horseback riding, goat yoga, and goat milking. You can also volunteer and help care for the animals while you are here by feeding, grooming or simply petting them. TJ, our owner, is working her way through the race track. Our campsites are managed by Tony. He works closely with guests to expand our campsites. TJ and many of the guides volunteer hard hours to rehabilitate the horse and give them a good home. You should see how the animals flock to TJ. The ranch also has goats, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats. You can support our mission of rescuing horses by booking one of our horseback riding or other services! Thank you for your support! Guests love staying here: "Second stay and looking forward to returning again! <3 We were the only campers during the weekend, it was so serene. It gets very cold at night but the star filled skies are breathtaking. This time during our stay we had 3 kitty visitors and 3 dogs that rolled up to our camp multiple times, it felt like they were checking up on us. It was so cute. The sweet Aussie poked his head in our tent to say "you good?" haha It was so cute and they were extremely friendly and social! The black kitten stayed at our camp all night and cuddled on our laps by the fire. It was such a lovely experience. TJ and her crew have done an amazing job with this place, I don't have enough words to explain. Just see for yourself! You'll love it!! Can't wait to visit again!"

Camping and horse back riding
My husband and I had a great weekend at Saddle Up Ranch . We had a private site with gorgeous mountain view’s . Our site allowed us to look over horse corrals and be near goats, pigs ect . We met TJ our host . She was very friendly and answered all our questions and made us feel very welcomed . We were visited by several dogs and a cat that just loved us up . The land was fun to venture out on to hike on or just take a walk. The guides who took us horse back riding was nice and fun to chat with . We had a great horse back ride up and down many hills with such great views . Thanks again TJ and to all the guides for all you do and making our stay a memorable one . Thanks Keetsie and Matt Langdon

We had a great time at saddle up ranch. The trail ride that we had booked was beautiful. There were lots of wildflowers. We also enjoyed seeing the baby pigs and the baby goats. We will definitely be back.

Come for the Horses, goats and pigs
The 7 ? tent sites were on the property of Saddle Up Tours, a horse rescue and rehabilitation ranch , and they were not much more than semi-leveled dirt areas marked by a few Poles with the site numbers and a picnic table for each one, with only a bit of shrubs between a couple of the sites. The only facility was a single porta potty, that was also there for the use of all the rescue volunteers and visitors for horse tours. It was about 200 yds away from the tent sites, where water was probably also available from spigots/hoses near the corrals. I understand this was a rustic camp situation, but little more effort in the details of those sites would make a difference. I was never contacted by Tony, the "Host", only an automated response email confirming my online payment. What saved the experience was the TJ, the friendly and high energy ranch manager, who directed me to the tents site area, and she also told me of the trail rides and ranch activities that one could help out with and volunteer for in the operation of the ranch, and run by her and her extraordinary volunteers.

A Dream for Animal Lovers
Amazing!!! The directions were clear + the owner of the ranch (TJ) was SO helpful and kind! She let us hold the baby goats and gave us directions for a lovely hike, and didn't even mind when I had to call because we got lost. This is a camp you can 100% do as much as you want (goat yoga, horse riding, ranch chores) or just relax as much as you want! The animals are hilarious and great to be around! I loved the dog visitors during the trip too.
