Nearly four acres close to town and amenities, yet quiet and secluded. Away from any major roads and on quiet nights, the fog horn from the Big River buoy can be heard. Wildlife on the property include piliated woodpeckers, deer, raccoons, jack rabbits, bears (keep your trash and food inside!), mountain lions, foxes, and of course, our resident ravens. Wild huckleberries and rhododendrons are abundant among the redwoods and fir. A beautiful spot to spend the night!
We loved our stay amongst the redwoods! We would absolutely stay again. The tiny house is comfortable and the kitchenette well-stocked with dining ware and tools for cooking. We loved the string lights. The only thing to note is that the tiny house is very close to the main house and there is very little privacy.
This was our 2nd time staying here. It was a wet weekend that kept others away so felt very private. Listen to the ocean in the background. Relax in the trees. Appreciate having a trash can--as I mentioned last time, it's amazing how hard it is to find a place to deposit your trash in the area. Love the outdoor compost toilet. And the proximity to Big River and nearby hiking and mountain biking.
What a great place to stay and the hosts are amazing, they made sure that we had all we needed and that there was space enough for all our rigs. We will definitely be staying here again!
Beautiful little spot! And surprisingly insulated, especially during the winter! The camp came with free fire wood, and the bathroom was very clean. Highly recommend!!!
Molly's place was awesome - ft. a fully stocked little firewood hut, and a super clean composting toilet. The woods tent site felt super private and beautiful despite being so close to town. Definitely would come again!
