If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with a few close friends or your family, this option is for you. Tucked in along the South Fork of the American River, this beautiful campsite features picnic benches, a propane fire pit with propane included (fire pits help prevent wildfires), and a prep table for fixing up those tasty fireside meals. Guests also have access to shared bathroom facilities (and yes, there are showers!), volleyball, ping pong, communal benches, a sink and dishwashing station, and a common swimming area along the river. Most sites are within a very short walking distance to the banks of the South Fork of the American River, this place is ideal for anyone interested in experiencing the beauty of the foothills and the rush of the river. We offer both tent and RV sites. Each RV site includes its own picnic table, water and 30Amp power hookups. Guests will also have access to our volleyball court, ping pong, communal benches, and a common area with a sink and dishwashing station. Additionally, you can access the swim area and go for a dip to cool off on a hot day. If you're looking to steal some time away to reconnect and camp, this is the place for you. People of all ages can camp out, swim, and play. We offer toilets, showers, trash disposal, potable water and more depending on the site you chose. Leashed pets 45 pounds or less are allowed as well. Enjoy biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, paddling, climbing, swimming, whitewater rafting, and wildlife watching all nearby, or on site.

Riverside Tent Site
I love this place so much. It was our second visit and I would love ot make this an annual event. The hosts are so sweet and the site is just epic. Especially when you've got the whole place to yourselves. 10 out of 10 stars. :)

Canopy Tent Site
Clean, functional and fun!
This campsite had plenty of shade, good distance from neighbors and I think the best site closest to the river. The river literally viewable from Canopy campsite and as others have said maybe 30 second walk. There was another campsite called River directly in front of the river but it didn’t have a dishwashing stations and trash cans. Canopy is the closest you’ll get with all the best features. The portable bathrooms were near by and very clean. There’s also flushable toilets and showers but it was a bit farther but still a short walk. I never used a propane fire for before but it actually was really nice not have to deal with wood. Nice touch to our evenings. The campsite hosts were very nice and felt very welcomed.

Riverside Tent Site
Straight Edge Camping
No where before booking says it’s run by a Christian Camp, if it did I wouldn’t have booked. I thought it was a little weird that they had a rule of no cussing, all the rules I felt were ok I guess understandable but the no cussing seemed kinda controlling. There’s rattle snakes that live in this branch pile right next to the “River” tent site. Understandable it’s the great out doors but I feel that there should be signs warning people. I think the location is awesome and being that close to the water is one of a kind. My wife and I are lesbians & thought it was kind of weird that the host never greeted us via message after us greeting her via message. Once we got to the site and read the sign about all the rules and how it’s run by a Christian camp we can’t help to feel like the no response was because she realized we were lesbians. Thankfully we didn’t have to share any of the sites with anyone and my wife and I had it all to ourselves. I’d only recommend going here if you are straight edge, & or are a follower of Christ. If you’re like my wife and I, gay smokers who occasionally like to drink then this is definitely not the spot for you.

Oak Tent Site
Great stay at the cove :)
We had a great weekend. Kris is a lovely host. She checked in to see we were settled, and she came by the next day to leave more trash bags. The site (Oak) was big, clean, and well-planned. Easy walk to the river and next to sparkling port-o-potties. Flush toilets and showers are a couple minutes walk, but the portables are better in the middle of the night! It was crazy hot, and most campers were at yhe river. The beach area is a small but worked out. The other groups we encountered were all friendly and accommodating. (Thanks to the group who let us borrow an inner tube!) We will definitely return!

Canopy & Riverside
We love camping here. So much fun for our family. Walking distance to the river. We rented Canopy and Riverside. Both campsite has its own privacy. Canopy has a sink and hose and garbage cans. That was very thoughtful and also each campsite had a gas fire pit with gas tank. Beautiful land Thank you so much for sharing your land with us Kris and Paul. They are wonderful hosts very hospitable. The showers and bathroom very clean and smells good. We definitely would come back. One of the family we camped with were first time campers and they really enjoyed it!!
