Welcome to Roca Ranch Camp. This camp is ideal for those that want to be off the beaten path ... on the road less traveled yet conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Mt Shasta and 5 minutes to Weed. The Camp is on 10 pristine acres in the Hammond Ranch area with a beautiful view of Mt Shasta to the East. 25' RVs with tow car OK, Sprinter Vans/ Class C with tow car OK/Class B/ Trailer 25' with tow OK. If you have a car in tow please go to the top of the driveway at the loop and remove the car in tow before entering the driveway to the Hip Camp. If you are a bit longer just text us and we can see if it can work. All campers must be self contained with holding tanks. NO TENT CAMPING. This camp is for SELF CONTAINED RVs. If you arrive without your own toilet you will be asked to leave. Doggies are allowed and should be leased for the safety of wildlife. All pets must sleep in your RV. There are many critters out at night! The camp is by a beautiful Zinnia garden which blooms in the summer and a small orchard which is all fenced in. The property is wooded and has a view of Mt Shasta from the camp. The camp has a picnic table, two outdoor chairs, WE ARE UNDER CAMPFIRE RESTRICTIONS AT THIS TIME. NO CAMPFIRES WILL BE ALLOWED. Please ask upon your arrival if restrictions have been lifted. There is a cool soaking tub available to beat the heat during the summer months! After confirmation of your reservation we will contact you with local information on places to see as you explore the area and our favorite places to shop and eat out. There are several walks right from the Camp to a beautiful pond and hill walks for panoramic views. All dirt roads... so great mountain bike exploring! You will be surrounded by beautiful large Ponderosa Pines, wild flowers and White Fir trees. There is open sky for star gazing and no lights to obstruct your sky views. This is a very quiet area that is visited by deer, bears, many species of birds, eagles, owls, rabbits, fox, hawks and more. Happy Camping!!!The  Roca Ranch Camp is located on 10 pristine acres covered in Pine and Fir trees.  This location is a dark sky area so the star gazing is wonderful.  RVs/ Sprinter Vans/ Class C/ Trailers up to 25' + tow rig OK. Text us if you are a bit longer and we can maybe work it out for your length. Must be self contained with holding tanks. Access is up a driveway with a left turn into the meadow….gate entrance is 16' wide. There is room in the meadow to turn around and back into the camp site. Generators during the day OK. All campers must be self contained. There is a dump station located at the PILOT at the South Weed Exit.  All campers are asked to dispose of all trash from the campsite. No trash can will be available onsite. A Solo campfire stove is available or bring a propane campfire as long as there are no fire restrictions at the time of your arrival. We do allow pets. Please keep your pets in control and on a leash if necessary. We do have a Carrin Terrier named Roxy that is very friendly. The town of Mt Shasta is a ten minute drive down a country road. The town of Weed is 5 minutes away. There is great mountain bike riding through out our area on many dirt roads. More local activities  like biking, paddling, lake time, hiking, swimming, and more can be researched at the Mt Shasta Chamber of Commerce.

Serenity in the Country!
Beautiful spot in a quiet country setting. Hosts are very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for the area. This is a great place to relax with a nice garden next to the Campspot, cold tub to soak in on a hot day and chill out. Lots of great sights to see in the area and outdoor activities. View of Mt Shasta was an added bonus! Easy access, water at site and basic power as well. We will definitely be back in the future.

Roca Ranch Camp
Perfect setting and location!!!
This was our first time using HipCamp and it was a fabulous experience! Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We really appreciated their quick responses and communication throughout the entire process from booking/directions to recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and local events while we were there. I cannot say enough about their hospitality!! RV site is as described...only better! It’s out of town just a bit, but a short drive to everything the area has to offer. The forest setting is peaceful, relaxing, refreshing…just what we needed. We enjoyed the view of Mt Shasta from the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit, while deer grazed their way past us. Thanks Jim and Marcie for sharing your little slice of Heaven with us!! We can’t wait to return!!

This campsite is awesome and so peaceful. Easy to find and park our camper van. The hosts really thought of everything including the amazing view of Mt. Shasta! The solo fire pit was a nice touch, it was prepped and ready to light. We would definitely stay here again.

Roca Ranch Camp
A lovely, scenic, quiet spot!
We absolutely love this spot. Marcia and Jim are such cool people. And, they have created a magical spot in the heart of Shasta country. We both agreed that it's our favorite among many HipCamp spots. We can't wait to visit again. 👍
