Redwood Camp Retreat is a private and quiet wine-country property set amongst large redwoods - in close proximity to biking and hiking trails, downtown Sebastopol, the Barlow, a variety of outstanding restaurants, and dozens of vineyards and tasting rooms. All are just minutes away by car and several are reachable by bike in the West Sonoma countryside via bike lanes or the Joe Rodota trail. We've created a tour that we are happy to share. The private site is set far back from the owner's home with its own driveway access and large private deck overlooking the redwoods. It's located at the end of a private lane adjacent to a vineyard and set into the redwoods with a large nature preserve as a backdrop. The garage next to the site is used for storage only and won't be accessed by the owners while you are onsite.***2 day rental discount (Holidays excluded): If you rent Saturday at full price, we will take $20 off a Friday or Sunday rental. Request at full-price and mention the discount, then we will adjust the rate for you. All 1 night rentals are charged the full price.*** You'll stay in our private, cozy and romantic camper new in 2022 in the only rental on this property set on a blacktop pad with a view of the woods. This ultimate private wine-country "glamping" experience accommodates two adults in a comfortable full-size bed with premium mattress. Other features include heat, A/C, an outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, stove, and sink, microwave, coffee maker, flush toilet, and outdoor shower with hot water. An adjacent private deck is also provided with a table and chairs to enjoy meals and wine under the redwoods. Morning coffee and tea as well as all the tools you need to cook and enjoy a simple meal and drinks are provided. Towels and toiletries are provided for the outdoor shower. Wifi is available. ***2 day rental discount (Holidays excluded): If you rent Saturday at full price, we will take $30 off a Friday or Sunday rental. Request at full-price and mention the discount, then we will adjust the rate for you. All 1 night rentals are charged the full price.*** The secluded site is set at the back of the owner's 2-acre property at the end of a private lane in a small neighborhood with large country properties. You'll see our neighborhood Alpacas, goats, sheep, and chickens as you drive in and out, along with an adjacent vineyard and views of Mt. St. Helena. The site backs up to many acres of preserve land. A hammock nestled in the trees provides the perfect spot for lounging with a book or taking an afternoon nap. Joe Rodota trail access is a mile away by bike or on foot. Or take the car and park in the sweet town of Graton and set out from there after breakfast at Willow Wood Market Cafe. The many vineyards of the Russian River Valley are just minutes away, offering tasting experiences for every budget. Make sure to check out the deal offered at https://www.sonomacounty.com/tasting-pass/. Downtown Sebastopol with its festive Sunday farmer's market and the Barlow are a quick drive. *Want to bring two friends or family members? This was the perfect spot for my solo getaway! It felt so private, even though it was close to the host’s house. And it was so comfy - definitely glamping! Lots of space to enjoy the outdoors, but with a comfortable bed, easy cooking, and all the tools I needed for simple cooking! Evan thought of everything!

He was great to communicate with and the trailer/setup was just as described. He even offered me some fresh pears on the last day.

Cute spot,but toilet location funky
We liked this site but had mixed feelings regarding a couple things. I still recommend this spot, but here's our explanation via pros/cons list. Pros: Secluded location with gorgeous little forest. We had a baby deer walk through in the morning, birds singing, and a nice little spot for breakfast. The bed was cozy, there were fluffy towels provided and shampoo/soap in the shower. You can tell things have been thought out and they've left things to make your stay nicer. There's instructions on how everything works and what to do. All of this was very appreciated. Cons: We felt that the posting didn't make a couple things clear, that it should. The rv is very small, which is fine, but smaller than I had realized. The kitchen part is actually outside (also fine). The part that was trickier is that the toilet is in the rv right next to the bed, and although it technically has a door, it's only there to hide the toilet when not in use. When using the toilet, there isn't enough room to close the door, so you are using the bathroom in a small room right next to your travel partner. During the day when the other person can just step out, it's ok, but when I'm attempting to go to sleep and my partner needs to go, it was a little less comfortable. All to say, I think that should be clearer. We also felt that the price was slightly high for the night, especially given the surprise toilet situation. Still recommend, just think there needs to be some clearer wording/images in the post
