RV, Trailer, Camper Van sites located on a coastal ridge-top orchard surrounded by redwoods. Each site includes access to artesian well water, 30-amp RV hook-up, 20-amp outlet, solar string lights, and a picnic table. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE RV/CAMPER VAN/TRAILER ONLY - WE DO NOT HAVE TOILETS/SHOWERS AND THEREFORE WE DO NOT OFFER CAR/TENT CAMPING - BYOB - Bring Your Own Baño. A great place to relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of the area. Wake up to a chorus of birds while the sunrises over the forest. Stay up enjoying the 360 degree star gazing. The property is located east of Occidental in a unique "banana belt" along the USDA 9a/9b climate zones, inside the "Green Valley" Sonoma wine appellation, on a quintessential country lane. Originally settled and farmed in the early 1900's by a family of Italian immigrants, from who the lane is named. One acre is our family compound, two acres are forest preserve, and the other two acres are the orchard - where the parking sites have been integrated. The orchard has many different fruit trees including heritage Gravenstein apples that were originally planted by the family from Italy. The Gravensteins are ripe between mid July to mid August. The orchard borders a forest with old growth Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Bay Laurel, Oaks, and Madrone. Some wildlife passes through the orchard, especially birds. The site offers great star gazing, sun rises, moon rises and access to a charming walk on a beautiful country lane for sunsets. Two minute drive to Occidental, and a twenty minute drive to the beaches of the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River. A great location to explore and enjoy nearby small towns, wineries, dairies, hiking, bicyling, surfing, kayaking, and farmers markets... or just relax at the site, make a picnic and bask in the serenity. Site 2 - Orchard Paradise in Wine Country
Make sure you can reverse your rig
I don't fault this place, and should've checked with them ahead of time (now that Hipcamp no longer lets you filter places by "pull-through" sites). If you can't easily reverse your rig, definitely pick Site 1, but even then, given everything on the property (including the small trees and such to avoid carefully, and the turn into the spots and out again) I'd only come with a smaller vehicle here, definitely not a trailer. Host was very responsive though, and since no one else was staying that night, we were able to stay in Site 1. Area is more residential than I imagined, and I heard a recycling pick-up or something in the early morning. Site 1 is closest to the small one-way (but relatively wide) neighborhood lane, but is thankfully well-screened by trees, and there wasn't much traffic, as it's clearly just a small lane for the houses that are in that area. Old water-tower structure (?) near Site 1 with skull of some animal hanging on it was surprising, but my daughter found it neat! Likely a great place to stay when the apples are in season :)

Site 3 - Orchard Paradise in Wine Country
Quiet and comfortable.
I stayed here during the summer and loved it. So when I found out I needed to be in the area again, I didnt hesitate to reserve my space and go again. This site is some quiet and comfortable. I had the place to myself so I was able to let me dogs run about and play. And they happily ate some of the downed apples that were on the ground.

The directions were accurate and the grounds were beautiful. Very quiet and cozy spot. Picking apples off the tree was an added bonus.

Lovely, quiet and a great amount of space. The birds & open sky make this a great place to stay. Really close to town & any day trips you might have in mind.

Such a peaceful getaway!
We had a wonderful experience at Rancho Laslendini, even with all 3 RV spots occupied, it was still secluded enough that we felt like the only ones there. It's such a peaceful, quiet and beautiful orchard, there were so many apples in the trees that they were falling to the ground all night. Tons of beautiful birds to watch. It was only an overnight trip but we absolutely loved the location.

This was a great quiet location not far from the coast. Very clean and tidy and many fruit trees to pick from. The night skies were beautiful! It was a perfect get away for my husband and I to relax and enjoy.
