Private property on a private reservoir. Enjoy some quiet time on the water, swimming, fishing, camping or just sitting and enjoying this hidden gem. Conveniently located a couple minutes from town to get some groceries or even fast food and gas. Also minutes from the large lake of New Hogan if your brining a jet ski or boat. Come relax on this 10 acres of private water access. Fish till your heart is content. Please catch and release. We have a variety of fish: Bass, Blue Gill, Cat fish and even some big Carp. Use our row boat or bring your own kayak, SUP, canoe etc. Newly added large floating dock, sand beach and large swing set/ hammock polls. Come play and have fun and listen to the sounds of frogs at night and the birds in the morning.Newly added floating dock, sand beach and swing. Pictures coming soon! Park your rig and start fishing......pitch your tent right next to the pond or a little ways back, your call. We have a gravel driveway and parking area. Pick the dirt or clean gravel area. You might want to bring a comfy pad or air mattress. The water is great to swim in during the summer. Fire ring is available, bring your own wood. Fun fact, the pond was a gold mine back in the day. Spring fed its a nice spot year round with plenty of water.

Perfect Getaway

Tent camped there for 3 days and it was beautiful, great fishing and everything was very relaxing.

Pond Bank Waterfront

Not private as expected

Wasn’t able to stay, air conditioning problem. Didn’t get refund, too late. Note* Pond is not for camper only, but is for other campers in the area, communally. Site information didn’t explain the pond site wouldn’t be private, it showed as private, so that was unfortunate.

My yorkie and I stayed one night in mid-August. Probably not the best time to visit for us due to extreme heat. The site itself is private, the added astroturf in front of the water is a nice touch and there is a shade stand near the water’s edge. Next to the stand is a bucket with life vests, but birds have marked them a bit. There is a small hard shell boat and kayak for you to use, but plan to bring paddles for them as people have taken them. Across the water is a house or two that overlook the site. One neighbor stood an excessive amount of time watching me set up my tent, canopy, and bathroom tent. It is reassuring to know that while you are alone if something happened you are within screaming distance for help. James was wonderful staying in contact. He alerted me the day before my stay that the water is turning a bit green due to the heat. I was drawn to the site based on the photos and thought I could beat the heat by getting in the water, but erred on the side of caution and didn’t get in. This would be a lovely space to enjoy when the weather less extreme and if you bring paddles. The nearby town is 5 min away and a great place to find comforts. We stayed a few hours each day at the local restaurant with a covered patio. There’s a couple hours between 6-8pm when the sun shifts and the heat lessens so you can settle in. Watching the birds at sunset was neat. Thank you James for our visit. We hope to stay again in the future. It’s a lovely private site.
