Due to our daily workload, we can only host independent guests who are comfortable exploring the listing details and utilizing available resources on their own. Our personalized animal tour is guided, but guests will learn to relax around the animals independently thereafter.

Nestled on just under 4 foothill acres backing against the wilderness of the Santa Rosa Plateau, but only 2 minutes from shopping, coffee, dining, our small, veteran owned farm provides a charming and picturesque setting that encompasses the essence of rustic hospitality. Our tiniest residents, including the adored Mary Lou and Petunia, offer more than just cow cuddles; they provide therapeutic benefits through brushing, bottle-feeding, and close interaction. Communal environment with parking (3) available between the barn and pavilion. Vibrant tent camping area with games, communal fireplace, shaded picnic spots. Our site fosters a shared love for animals and sustainable farming, not partying. Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited. CAMP FAQs: • Pool and Hot Tub: Hot tub available (Extra - $35 for 2 hours) from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM • Animal Interactions? Yes! Scheduled PM and AM care times allow safe, hands-on experiences. Enjoy relaxation and observation on your own time throughout your visit. • Firewood/Other Resources Policy: Communal "you take some, you leave some" policy. Respect our community values by replacing what you use. • Children: All guests, including children, must be registered through HipCamp. • Cars and Tents: Each site accommodates one tent and one car. Inquire about adding more (Extra). • Check-Out Times: Guests must check out by 12:00 PM. Early check in for a fee if available (inquire). • Large Groups: Not available in HipCamp. Howe Ranch is for single-family stays. Inquire for event booking through our site or Peerspace. • Dogs: Some small, friendly, leashed dogs welcome, excluding all prey breeds. Accommodations and Amenities: • Pitch your tent or bring your RV (one hookup spot available, inquire first). • Enjoy communal fire pit, outdoor cooking facilities, and panoramic views. • Bathroom use is restricted to non-flushable items only due to septic system limitations.
