We hope your path leads you here to experience all that Lassen has to offer. Miles of trails, pristine waters, dark skies, and wildlife abound, all awaiting to be discovered. Site 11 - Campsite right outside Lassen NP
We absolutely LOVED staying at Mill Creek Resort Campground. The campsites are private and spacious and well maintained. Site #11 ended up being somewhat of a pull through and was helpful for us as we were towing a small pop up trailer. The campground was quiet and the sound of the rushing Mill Creek at the bottom of the hill was delightful. There is a steep trail to get down to the creek, but very little creek access. We were here in early June and the creek was bursting with fresh snow melt from Lassen. We appreciated the coin operated showers and flush toilets. The shower stalls are quite small for larger people but we were grateful to have a hot shower at the end of the day. The land is amazing! Nestled in a thick forest with something for everyone. Pet friendly, Glamping tents, RVs (no generators-hallelujah!) or tent camping. The weekend we were there a women’s yoga retreat was happening, which we found out happens regularly. They have posted activities for the surrounding area on the wall outside the showers. There is a beautiful small meadow with a large deck on the property and a short flat hiking trail at the back of the property. The trail is absolutely beautiful. We were able to purchase firewood and ice outside the front of the resort building. The grounds are well maintained and all the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back!

Amazing and beautiful campground resort. The spots are spacious so you still have privacy. Xavier and Carley assisted with anything I needed during my stay. I will definitely be back!

Had a relaxing time
It was really nice to show up to camp with a tent already set up. The tent was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I enjoyed the quiet campsite. The lights in the outhouse were out but a headlamp works. I will be back.

Pristine camping spot with stars!
We stayed in campsite #20 and our friends stayed in the glamping spot #16. We had three kids and a dog and four adults total. It was a beautiful and quiet camping spot. Shady, with the sound of the running water lulling us to sleep. We saw a cinnamon bear and a small black bear during our stay (far enough away to enjoy them both). The stars at night were spectacular, the campsite was pristine and the other campers were friendly. We plan to go back again before the fall, since the road in Lassen wasn’t fully cleared yet. A wonderful trip!!

Well maintained campground with great amenities that were clearly explained/labeled! We had a cozy campsite, fire and a nice walk down to the nearby creek. Appreciated the firewood for sale and the many potable water spigots!! We were definitely in close proximity to other campers and could hear neighbors’ conversations, kids playing and the occasional dog bark. Wasn’t a problem but something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a more private experience.
