Mendocino coast property located less than a mile from the town of Mendocino and Big River Beach *This site is for FULLY SELF-CONTAINED RVs, trailers or Sprinter-van type vehicles (have a bed, bathroom, & sink inside). Spend the night in designated spots for your 24' or less RV, trailer or or Sprinter-type van. Walk to Big River Beach to surf, swim or relax on the beach. Hike directly from your campsite through our coastal forest. 3 HipCamp campsites are located on the property within visible proximity of each other. We are dog friendly so there may be other dogs who are required to be on a leash within the common spaces. The other campsites may be occupied during your stay. Property also hosts common spaces such as an outdoor shower.

Whale Song Campsite - 24' or less

Great location in the woods with a view towards the water. We loved both the outdoor shower and indoor bathtub. Clean and Mendo funky. We were the only ones at the property so that was a bonus. We’d stay there again

Stunning RV campground!

My wife and I would love to thank Molly for the excellent stay. The grounds are so well maintained and have everything one could ever want or need. Super private and in such a beautiful location! We’d love to stay again soon!

Abalone Campsite - 24' or less RV

Parking spots for the camper van are beside the garbage. It is close to Mendocino, which is nice but it’s basically a parking spot beside garbage.

Unforgettable experience

Great experience with great host. Accommodating and friendly. The private forest and hike through was amazing. Everything is close by with access to amazing views.

We LOVED our time at Whale Song camp site! Beautiful setting, great location, and friendly host. Everything was clean and ready for our visit. We would definitely come again!

Abalone Campsite - 24' or less RV

Campsite was great, cute little property with a cool outdoor shower and bathroom to use. Had plenty of free firewood and nice little fire rings. Had the place to ourselves other than someone at the vacation rental but still had plenty of privacy. I would stay again
