The Stargazer Bed
Sleep under stars & wake up to sun
My friend and I enjoyed this unique and funky getaway. It was a low key Thursday evening, so we had the place to ourselves. Mikey communicated directions clearly and greeted us at the gate upon arrival with his two sweet dogs. He gave a thorough tour of our accommodations, the bathroom and shower, communal kitchen, the fire pit, a fridge we could store food in, and other common spaces we could enjoy. We used the pizza oven and fire pit; so wonderful! Luckily we brought firewood. I read in the reviews beforehand that dogs bark through the night, so I packed some earplugs and slept soundly. Falling asleep to stars and waking up to the sunrise was a real blessing. We took our time in the morning to wander the space and admire the creative inspiration that is fostered here. Thank you!

The owner, Mikey, is super cool, welcoming, and wonderful to be around! I love this place. My partner and I pulled in with our truck + truck camper and stayed a couple nights. It has a super cool, artsy, “mini-Burner” type of community vibe. This place is all sand / desert but with community kitchen, bathroom, and some other amenities. Completely fenced in - you can let your dog roam if you would like. There are several really nice and adorable dogs on the property. I would highly recommend this place!

The Stargazer Bed
Someone tried to break into our Van
We booked a stay 11/22 at the LL ranch for a relaxing Baby moon. We reserved the Stargazer bed with the intent to enjoy the stars, relax, and then sleep in our van.
We arrived around 3pm and met Mikey. He was responsive & helpful, initially. I have camped and stayed in a lot of funky places but this place felt like it needed some major clean up & TLC to welcome guests.
The sun set and right away a dog started barking non-stop, from about 5pm-on. The neighbors started blasting really loud music. It was a Friday night, but very hard to enjoy the sky & relax. About 8:30 pm we decided to head into our van. We were laying in the back with our heads towards the back door with windows/doors closed & locked. We were winding down when we felt a tug- someone was trying to open the back door. Then, a really forceful, violent push on the doors. We hit back against the door so whoever it was knew there were people inside. It was terrifying! We took the window coverings off but couldn't see anything - too dark.
I called (no answer) & messaged Mikey right away. They weren't home, 10 mins later they arrived. We called him over -his wife whom we hadn't met- questioned us, implying this couldn't happen. It happened. Mikey said there is a rehab down the street- maybe someone got out. The gate is easy to open. He walked around & told us he didn't find anyone. There was zero follow up or checking in w us. It was scary- don't stay here. We cut our trip short bc we were so freaked out.

Incredibly special, hippie-style place where you can see and sleep out under a sea of stars. A lot of cool features like outdoor areas with strings of lights and lounge furniture creating a warm, festive atmosphere, unique decor, a swingset & slide, above ground pool, an few adorable, well behaved dogs and lots of space. And Mikey was so nice and accommodating. I wish I could’ve spent more time here and can’t wait to go back!

Lovelight RV #1
Groovy Desert Gem
True to the description of "hippie paradise", Lovelight Ranch is full of relaxing outdoor lounges and creative structures nestled in the desert sands with plenty of palms and cacti varieties. The host and his doggos are friendly and kind. Gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. Clean restroom, fresh water available for our camper van. Great spot!

The Stargazer Bed
Good location. Good vibe. It was a little noisy with dogs in the early evening, coyotes at night and roosters in the morning so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Bed was comfortable. I didn’t use the provided linens so I can say how warm it would have been. Little breezy up there but it is worth a chance.
