Blu Graham was born and raised on the Lost Coast. He is the owner and operator of Lost Coast Adventure Tours, a local guiding outfitter and shuttle service for the Lost Coast. He knows all the epic spots and history about the surrounding area. Enjoy big skies overlooking a vast mountain range. Our boat camp and bus camp will also be available soon! We are located just a few miles from Shelter Cove and both the Northern and Southern Lost Coast Trail segments. Making it a perfect place for hikers, dual sport enthusiasts and anyone wanting to get away from the everyday hustle bustle. At Lost Coast Base Camp, every detail is designed to enhance your wilderness experience, including access to shared amenities that cater to both comfort and convenience. Enjoy ourseasonal fire pit or cook up a feast at the BBQ pit. Our enclosed bathrooms and hot showers provide a touch of home, while the communal full kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and sharing stories of the day's adventures. Sinkyone Camp

Amazing views of the Milky way and the sunrise, friendly host. Clean kitchen, showers and flush toilets. The tents were setup well the experience was pleasant!

Bear Butte Camp

The night sky view was unbelievable. Never seen a star filled sky like that, didn’t even sleep in the tents, just under the stars. The facilities were perfect for a base camp, clean showers, clean bathrooms, and a full kitchen. Our host Alan was more than accommodating. He checked in with us on our way there to make sure we were good, walked us through the camp and every facility, stocked the campfire area with firewood, and gave us all the insight on where to go in town. With only 4 sites, it’s quiet and mellow, perfect to prep for hiking the Lost Coast Trail the next day. Alan then checked in to make sure we made it back safe and sound. Couldn’t of picked a better place

Beautiful location! Over looking the forest. A fire was built for us upon arrival. Top service! Would highly recommend as a base camp or a jumping off point if you are hiking the Lost Coast

Amazing place!

Amazing place! Would definitely come back. The view is amazing- especially if there is a great sunset. The host, Alan, was so kind and helpful. I was impressed by the bathrooms, shower, and kitchen. Wow! We went the night before our lost coast backpacking trip, but I wish we stayed longer.

Find Your Way to Lost Coast Camp

Jaw-dropping views of the Lost Coast, particularly at sunrise and sunset! And oh my what a Star Show at night. The tents are airy and spacious, though we preferred our own sleeping bags and cushions to the provided US Forest Service cots. New kitchen has everything you need, showers and restrooms neat and clean. We love the location--remote, yet nicely positioned between the two areas comprising the Lost Coast--Sinkyone Wilderness State Park to the south, the King Range National Conservation Area to the north.
