Shady Madrone RV Landing
Rachel was very welcoming and accommodating during my stay at her property. I had made last minute reservations, and she made sure I had the right directions (as the GPS directions are a little confusing) and greeted me as I arrived later in the day. Her dogs and family are also very sweet! Would recommend if you just need a quiet, peaceful place to stay for a few days!

The parking spot was just fine. The Google directions were not spot on, we had to rely on good old fashioned street signs. Her directions about the gate were perfect, we knew when we arrived we were there. Parking was level, it worked for us.

Hosts are very friendly and easy-going.
We only stayed for one night, but accomodations are limited. Great help with finding a beautyful spot on the river to swim.

Nice spot close to Willow Creek
Nice open land with beautiful views. Loved that the property is so close to town but far enough way that you feel tucked away in nature. Rachel was very hospitable and friendly. Would stay again!

Fun Stay!
We had a great stay at Rachel’s Shady Madrone RV site. We came in a 31ft RV and had tons of room! Very easy to maneuver.
The vibe is very chill, which I appreciated. She has beautiful horses and some lovely, energetic dogs! My little chihuahua was fine cruising around outside.
I come from a small mountain town (Murphys, CA) so I appreciated Rachel’s easy, laid back vibe. Rachel and her daughter were lovely and we enjoyed spending time with both of them.
I found this to be a very family oriented, communal place. The common area, which has a bathroom, shower, kitchen, and dining space, is a true, shared common area, as it is used by Rachel and her daughter, as well as whoever else is staying on the grounds. This was great, and I enjoyed the “family” vibe it brought, but something to note if you are not a “communal living” kind of person (and of course, if you have a full rig, you may have no need to use the common area).
Once again, I very much enjoyed meeting Rachel and her daughter, and I will definitely be back! We were her first booking, and I’m excited to see how she continues to develop the space and the community!
