Welcome to our A-Frame Nolla Cabins at the doorstep to Yosemite! Lillaskog, meaning "Little Forest" in Swedish, is a large property tucked away overlooking Stanislaus National Forest. Our property is conveniently located off Highway 120 and 15 minutes outside of the entrance to Yosemite National Park. While amenities such as the town of Groveland, restaurants, and gas stations are nearby (15 minutes away), you will truly feel like you are off the beaten path at this campsite. Featuring our A-Frame cabins in partnership with Nolla from Finland, sleep on a comfy mattress on a bed looking out through a floor-to-ceiling window where you may see deer grazing nearby, cedar and pine trees, and big sky with stars at night. Each cabin has a picnic table outside, a Yeti cooler of water, as well as clean composting toilets. Hot showers are available across the road at our sister property! Please be sure to check the Yosemite website for details on Park Reservations ahead of time if you plan to go Yosemite!

Cabin 2
spooky starry isolated bliss
This place is far away from everything in all the right ways! My partner and I had a great time at this cabin (b) and would stay here again in a heartbeat! The hosts are very communicative and accommodating, even when we weren’t able to communicate back. We didn’t have phone service and got lost initially, but the hosts checked up on us later that night to make sure we were there. It’s a great location if you want to sleep under the Milky Way but still have the comforts of a bed and a roof, and it’s far away enough from people to let your imagination run wild if you like to get spooked and assume the guy coming to check in on you is about to murder you. Thank you for the great weekend!

All the stars, from your bed! ✨✨✨
We loved this special spot to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The provided water, solar panel power and nearby toilet were the perfect amenities for this adorable A-frame. Seeing the night stars from bed every night and morning made it feel very magical. Thank you for a great spot!

Cabin 2
We had a lovely time at Liza and Tom’s place. It was about a 15-20 minute drive from the Big Oak Flat gate. We enjoyed watching the night sky from bed. The pictures on their post are true to what you will find. We brought all of our regular camping supplies. We used to picnic table that was out front when cooking our meals and making our morning coffee. It does get quite warm in the cabin. We just used a light blanket at night. There was a small fan in there that helped keep us cool at night. The drive on the property to the cabin was a little bit of an adventure but nothing our truck couldn’t handle. I think someone in a smaller car would have difficulties though. All in all, we had a great time and would love to stay there again.

Quiet Dispersed-Camp feeling
This was an awesome hidden gem in the area! Felt very private and quiet. Was like fancy dispersed camping. The cabin was a little warm until it got dark outside (daytime temp outside was 80-90 F), but got very comfortable with door open since night dropped to 60 degrees, we even closed the solid door around midnight to keep cabin from getting any colder. I would highly recommend bringing your own pillows as there are none supplied by host, only mattress bed. I would definitely come back and recommend to others as it was quiet and a beautiful view.

Beautiful Views in Woods!
Views were beautiful and the place was very clean. It was very secluded but the directions were easy to follow. Bathroom was nice and clean - great way to stay in nature but not be in the elements! It did get cold and we flew in from GA so we did not have blankets and pillows... it did get very cold and we had to use clothing to keep ourselves comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!
