The L3 Ranch was founded in 1974 when my grandfather bought the property for his show cows.  In 1978, someone gave him a racehorse to pay off a debt. From then on, the property was known for its Quarter horse race horses, with some of the best in the state being born right here. In 2013 he found our he had cancer and handed the ranch down to me, Travis.  While he survived the cancer, he's happy in retirement playing cards with his buddies every week and hanging out with his dog. Now the ranch is known for its horse boarding, cattle, and goats. We even hold weddings and events at the lake sometime.  My main goal is to bring the ranch in a more in line with sustainable ranching. Its a process, but I love what I am doing, and where the ranch is going.Enjoy a private lake to yourself. We will now be keeping only one site open and it is at the lake. A BBQ, firepit, and boats await you for a nice relaxing weekend and  you will find that even on hot days there is a nice breeze that helps keep heat down. Plus your dogs (and you, too!) will enjoy taking a dip in the lake and cooling off on the grass. A friendly reminder, we are a working ranch, so during harvest (anytime from August through October)  you might hear and see equipment being used to harvest the grapes, walnuts, and almonds; there will be higher levels dust at these times.

Secluded Lake on Pet Loving Ranch
Absolutely Spectacular
My fiancée and I stayed here last weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. It is very secluded and we had a blast with our pups. The lake is gorgeous and has a canoe, row boat, and kayak. The area is very well maintained and Travis was extremely kind and responsive. This is genuinely the best place I have ever camped and I have been camping hundreds of times. We will undoubtedly return again.

Secluded Lake on Pet Loving Ranch
This place was magical. I took my 2 kids camping here. We went boating in the lake, caught a fish, and made s’mores by the campfire. This spot of good for casual camping and families with small kids as there are power outlets, a pretty good outdoor bathroom, outdoor lighting, picnic tables, grill, even an outdoor fridge. Before we headed home, Travis let my kids see the horses on the ranch. My kids and I had a very memorable trip, and we hope to be back soon!

Loved every minute!
Beautiful, private and safe campsite. Travis was very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. Planning to make this an annual family trip. Kids loved the water activities. Grill and fridge were extra bonuses!

Great place to relax
Loved our stay at the ranch! This was our second time there. It was hot during the day but the lake, water misters, and breeze kept us cool and it was cool enough at night to enjoy a fire. The shaded picnic area is a lifesaver! Lots of wild life viewing including a great white egret and an osprey. Great fun racing across the lake in the canoe. We made use of the fishing rods and worms we found in the fridge and even snagged a tiny fish! No fish for dinner but it was fun. We’ll definitely be back.
