Water, power, and sewer available. Property is close to freeways and stores. Also adjacent to nature preserve with moderate hiking trails, wildlife watching, and panoramic views. Site is at the top of a STEEP hill. Some maneuvering on your end will be required to get a vehicle in, but site is level once parked. Hookups are included but cannot be connected continuously. This is an URBAN camp spot meaning there will be some noise from the freeways and the city that's off in the distance. We live in a neighborhood so our neighbors sometimes make noise or have cars coming in and out.Urban camping spot with incredible views. Site is at the top of a STEEP hill. Driveway in to camping spot has a pretty good slope which can be a challenge for some low sitting vehicles or vehicles with rear mounted cargo/bike racks. Perfect for stealth vans and other smaller vehicles that have a HIGH CLEARANCE. Travel trailers and other RVs with HIGH CLEARANCE may also work depending on your skills. Water, power, and sewer available. This is a DRY CAMPING spot. Property is close to freeways and stores. Also adjacent to nature preserve with moderate hiking trails, wildlife watching, and panoramic views. This is an URBAN area meaning there will be some freeway and city noise. It's in a neighborhood which means we have neighbors. Our property, including the camp site, is monitored 24/7 with security cameras. Dogs are allowed as long as they are LEASHED and cleaned up after when necessary. Please message me to see if we can accommodate your specific vehicle/situation.

Urban camp site with a view!

Great views, strange owners

My husband and I were looking for a Hipcamp to live out of for a month while we were in San Diego. The night we got there, we fell in love with the 360 views, the comfort of having an electric & water hookup, and the ability to order fresh eggs. We thought this was going to be a favorite spot. In the morning, I woke up to a camera pointed in my face. I quickly started getting messages asking about whose car was on property (even though I had 4 people & 2 cars on my res), asking my dog to be on leash (even though he was on a secured longer leash), etc. My point being, there was absolutely no privacy. We felt as if we were being watched every second. It made us very uncomfortable. In the second half of our stay, we had some other strange encounters with the owners and their children who were constantly passing our site and looking in. One of them being that Lisa had asked us to leave the Hipcamp because she thought that our dog was off leash. He had ran out of our trailer once but then was quickly leashed up. Other than that, we never had him off leash on their property. There was also a time where Lisa and I had scheduled to meet up so that I could run some questions by her. I had commuted in the rain to make our meeting only to be stood up. I say all of this to say that this place would be great if you are looking for just a stop and go, otherwise, the constant hawking, feelings of discrimination, and rude exchanges urge me to warn others to steer clear.

Views of the city and easy access.

Was a great spot. Easy access in to the town via a short lyft to the trolley station. Then on to anywhere. View was perfect. Water and electric hookups were great. Good signal on the phone. Hosts were very easy to deal with. Take it slow up the road. It’s steep.
