Jug Handle Creek Farm and Nature Center is a nonprofit with a five minute walk to Jug Handle State Reserve, Jug Handle beach and the Ecological Staircase trail. We offer 11 unique campsites with plenty of space and privacy. Each site has two picnic tables, a fire ring, parking for two cars and plenty of space for your tents. We also offer three lovely cabins, which have power and access to a shared kitchen and bathroom with a hot shower. Our 33 acres include a native plant nursery, community gardens, forests, meadows, and nature trails. Our site has lots of nature trails, is peaceful and beautiful and just a 5-minute walk to Jug Handle Beach and the Jug Handle Preserve. Our Mission: We offer a welcoming and supportive environment for people of all backgrounds to explore nature and connect with the natural word. Nature stewardship is central to our non-profit mission and as an organization we are engaged in many nature restoration projects throughout Mendocino County. We also provide a supportive learning environment for nature education for disadvantaged youth during the school year. #2 - Sunny Spot in Meadow

This is my second time staying at Jug Handle, it's a great campsite close to the ocean. Each site is spacious and relatively private. The port-a-potties are super clean and it's convenient that there's running potable water at the communal kitchen area. Looking forward to visiting again!

Nice now, better in the future

Beautiful property undergoing some renovation to better accommodate campers in the future. Great spot to drop in for a night or two. Felt a bit loud at times. Definitely take advantage of the trail down to the beach.

Comfy Place

Super clean and inviting camp area. Just minutes from Glass Beach. Such a beautiful big open space for my friends and I. Near the road but quiet.

Blissful Coastal Campsite

Such a spectacular set up! Everything from primitive camp sites to cabins! A lodge, bathrooms. And walking distance to the coast. Very grateful we found this site and will be returning whenever we’re on the 1!

#10 - Sunny Spot

Sweet little campground that suited us well. # 10 was great however if there was a group camp next spot over it would not be private enough.
