This secret off-grid getaway on 56 acres gives stunning views at private tent sites with hiking, bird-watching, and wildflower-spotting. Relax in the shade of a eucalyptus grove, enjoy the sun shining over the sage scrub, enjoy the dark night, and find the hidden waterfalls. A short drive to Temecula, Diamond Valley Lake, and Lake Skinner, our private, scenic campsites offer both serenity and nearby activities including wine tasting, restaurants, hot air balloons, and paragliding. We are 100% off-grid with no hookups or water sources (yet), no showers (yet) in the middle of a conservation area. A significant portion of our proceeds goes directly to a local non-profit for habitat restoration efforts within the Conservation Area, and other bird study projects. We hope to attract campers that want an off-the-beaten-path type experience without having to go to the mountains.

Whispering Winds

Great spot and well set up. We arrived pretty late and Rheanna stayed up and available to make sure we got situated- recommend if in the area!

Valley View 2

Nice views, mostly quiet, sunny

Tucked in the valley hills ~15 min from the main road, this campground offers a nice retreat from the city buzz. Although there’s still a city glow on the horizon, the stars shine bright. Spot is located at top of the hill, and if other campers are near by it’s very easy to hear. Also, the valley acts as an echo chamber, so campers down the hill can be heard. Most groups were quiet and respectful. Only one bathroom, and it’s a trek down the hill from some of the sites. No running water, and pack in pack out adds a bit of inconvenience after a few days with the trash bins being driving distance away. Bring shade, as sites without trees are very exposed and it gets hot and can be dusty!!

Spadefoot Grove 3

The group site was well apart from the other campsites so we never were bothered or felt like we were bothering the other campers. The size of the site was excellent for our event.

Morningside 2

My girlfriend and I had the best time staying at the hidden falls preserves. It was so peaceful and a great get away to enjoy nature. It was well kept and the owners were super friendly and made staying there so much more enjoyable. We had fun hiking and exploring the campground. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves camping and being in a peaceful and beautiful environment.

Shadetree Overlook

Rheanna’s was an amazing host! Very accommodating and friendly. The site was clean and felt private. Great sunsets and sunrises.
