Choose to camp amidst the lush woods or in our enchanting apple orchard. Spend your days engaging in farm activities, exploring scenic hiking trails, or simply unwinding in this idyllic setting. During the harvest season, delight in the experience of hand-picking a variety of fruits and vegetables at their peak of ripeness. Participate in our popular jam making classes held in August, and September for $55 per person, or indulge in a delightful High Tea in the Orchard, hosted on Mother’s Day weekend and June spring afternoons for $45 per person. Be sure to secure your spot early for these sought-after activities, as they tend to fill up rapidly. Our farm is conveniently located near picturesque mountain lakes and charming historic towns, offering ample opportunities for further exploration and discovery. Site 1 - Camp in the Apple Orchard

I love this place to camp! There are only a few sites so you have a lot of space around you away from other campers. You camp right in the apple orchard. It’s very pretty out there. You can see a beautiful night sky! This was my third camping trip here and will keep coming back.

Site 6 - Stargazing Orchard Site

Camping at Apple Hill Farm

Jane is very friendly and so is her staff. She is willing to go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful! Donuts are yummy and the pie shop will remind you of grandma’s house! I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

Site 6 - Stargazing Orchard Site

We enjoyed camping amidst the apple orchard and Xmas tree farm! Delicous treats in the pie shop, we picked our own berries, visited with the animals and explored the surrounding area! Jane was a pleasure to camp with. We will be coming back for our xmas tree this year!

Site 1 - Camp in the Apple Orchard

Good site for night sky viewing.

The farm is easy to find if you look it up on Google before hand. The location and area is nice. I went there to watch the meteor shower and the spot I booked IS unobstructed enough to see the night sky. The field you set up in is wide enough to move your chair around to star gaze. All the lights turn off at midnight and everything gets dark. You will hear sounds like in the movies wondering if it’s a bear, a monster, or…deers feeding on the dropped apples on the ground. There were so many of them. One of them got too close to my site because of all the apples on the ground. I didn’t want them closer for both our safety so I would make light noises and they’d move away. It’s quite a sight to see many deers at night with their eyes glowing and chomping on apples. I would book this place again if all the state campgrounds are reserved.

Site 4 - Sugar Pine Campsite

Nice, private spot with clean toilet. The farm is not too far from Tahoe and close to Sly Park Recreation Area. Would definitely visit again!
