Our property is located above the famous 'Gold Wall' rock climbing area, overlooking Lake Melones. Enjoy the great 360* views of the Sierras and foothills from this 120 acre ranch property. We own a small wine vineyard that offers glamping at its finest. The perfect place to spend one or two nights before your big trip to Yosemite National Park. Our property is NOT recommended for children under 12 yrs old, as we have dangerous cliffs that are straight drop offs. Choose to stay in 1 of our 4 cabins or just pitch a tent and camp under the stars {2 sites available}. The ranch offers fresh Mountain drinking water, with nice shady lawns and Oak trees for shade during the warm Summer weather. Dogs are allowed (2 max) at campsites but NO DOGS in the cabins. We are NOT RESPONSABLE for your animals...they must be on a leash at ALL Times. We have community outdoor areas to enjoy, including picnic tables, a fire pit and a communinal cooking gazebo area equip with BBQ and water. The "Gold Wall" is known for mountain climbing so enjoy the view from above, we offer easy hiking trails, horse shoes, and even mini golf on the "Dragon's Teeth" 6-hole . Looking to relax and rejuvinate your Spirit, book a massage with Michele, a licensed massage therapist, or hang out at the Hawks Lair wine bar on the cliffs edge, overlooking the Gold Wall and Lake Melones. Enjoy the sunset and take in the beauty of the night sky.

Dont miss this campground
This campground has incredible views, and is so perfect. Michelle thought of everything, and it’s the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen. It was so nice, I’d love to visit again soon. Just incredible!

Upon arrival, we followed the direction which were easy to understand and were greeted by Michele’s husband out in the vineyard. Michele came out shortly after and they both explained all the amenities and “to dos” on their property. The suggested heading to the cliff side wine bar they had during sunset and we took their advice but more on that later. We set up our tent in the designated areas which were perfect in size. The property also had toilets and showers that were all nice and clean and seemed to be well maintained. After we were all set up, right around sunset, we headed to the cliff side for the sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. It over looks the hills and what I believe is New Melones Lake. There is a nice seating area to enjoy the sunset. Another thing to note.. the stars are extremely visible from the property. There is very little light pollution and the light that you can see is so far and low to the horizon that it really doesn’t affect your view. All in all, I would definitely recommend staying if you are passing through. Thank y’all for hosting!

Zen Den Cabin #3
A really nice place!
We really enjoyed the stay at Gold Wall Ranch. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The cabin has AC and it's very clean. It's a wonderful place to see sunset and sunrise. The stars are also blooming during the night!

Great campsite. We stayed in site 2 and friends stayed in site 1. There's a covered area in between the sites with water, electricity and a propane grill. Also misters, which were nice when it was over 100 on the first day. There's an observation deck overlooking a reservoir with great sunset views. We had mule deer visit the campsite in the early morning. Hosts were very nice and provided good information about the area. We'll stay again next time we go to Yosemite. Also - nicest, cleanest campsite bathrooms I've experienced.

Flower Power Cabin #2
Really lovely quiet place in an amazing location, the views over the lake and surrounding hills are breathtaking. It was the exact kind of place I was looking for to unwind for a few days and visit Yosemite - it's only just over an hour's drive and makes an easy day trip. Plenty of amenities within a 15 minute vicinity if you need shops and restaurants. I would love to come and stay again if I get the chance 😊

Wow! The views were only surpassed by the incredible friendliness of Michele and her husband. My boys had fun chasing the frogs.
