This beautiful property is situated on 55 secluded acres in the lovely foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Swimming, fishing, and hiking await you. Experience the abundant wild life, the soothing sound of the river and just unplug for a few days. Only 1 1/2 hours from Yosemite National Park. Most of the time it is very quiet. There is another camp down stream owned by a wonderful family. They are here a couple times per week. You may hear them having fun and engaging in target practice. The river is a shared space but it is rare to see anyone else. Noise travels in the canyon so you may hear occasional barking or other vehicles. Hearing cayotes sing at night is very common. There is abundant wildlife including rattle snakes, bob cats, cayotes, fox, mountain lions and bears. Although it is rare to see them, always be aware of your surroundings and watch where you are stepping. Please don't leave food outside overnight or if you plan to leave for the day. Come experience the beauty and romance of this private retreat. Fall asleep to the soothing sound of the pristine river and watch the sunrise from your cozy queen size bed. This 12' x 20' pergola is situated on 55 secluded acres. You will enjoy access to the river, several hiking trails, fishing, swimming and gold panning! There is a stocked kitchen, environmentally safe toilet and an outdoor shower. The pergola sleeps 4 and linens are provided for 4 guests. Please bring additional linens or sleeping bags if you book more than 4 people. Additional camping cots are available in the "Extras" section when you book. The camp is off grid, no electricity but is well lit with solar lights. Cell phone reception is spotty but text works well. Although this is a very safe area, there is a gate at the entrance of the camp that you can close and lock at night or if you will be gone for the day. Plan to check-in at least 1 1/2 hours before dark.

It is beautiful and quiet. The accomodations and facilities are really lovely, with space to roam, and the river is wonderful. It is nice a far away from everyone, while still easily accessed. Cindy was very helpful and friendly, yet completely unobtrusive.

We loved being able to have so much land to wander and be so far away from the city. Cindy was amazing in communication, answering all the questions my group had, and was extremely friendly. A place we will definitely be recommending to friends as it was an amazing set up. So much provided that we ended up not having to use a lot of the extra equipment that we had brought. Highly recommend planning a stay with Cindy.

Just book it!
This Hipcamp is so fun! Besides Cindy meeting us when we arrived, we didn’t see another soul our entire stay. The bed is so comfortable, and it’s the best feeling of sleeping out in nature but with the same comforts of home. Our dogs were the happiest hanging out at the river and exploring all day. Yosemite is definitely close enough for a day trip, which we did! You pretty much have everything you could need on-site, it’s clean and thoughtful, couldn’t ask for more. Additionally, Cindy is a very helpful and understanding host. We never had any communication issues with her. We did have some service, but it was slow! We missed our checkout instructions because of that. I’d recommend asking for them a day early! Don’t sleep on this place!! It’s amazing!

Magical!
What a magical place! My boys and I had the best time at Glitter Cove! The tent is so thoughtfully designed and comfy. The camp kitchen had everything we needed. The little shower and potty was very convenient. We fished, frogged, found cool rocks and crystals, swam, hiked, and fell asleep to the sound of the river…heavenly!

A very lovely & magical experience
Cindy's place was amazing and peaceful. The space was very clean and had almost every amenities and aironb have., the bed specifically was very comfortable and had amazing bed sheets. We enjoyed the view and the privacy the space offered. Cindy was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place.
