Amanda is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Situated on a private and peaceful non-profit farm on the Gaviota Coast, our campsites provide a unique camping experience for the whole family. The sites feature uninterrupted views of the coast, native chaparral hiking trails, and access to a farm tour (suggested donation of $25/person). Our farm raises animals such as cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, and more. We invite you to visit with the animals, hike our trails, and enjoy the natural beauty of our incredible land. Sites are primitive camping on gravel pads along our hiking trails. Approximately a five minute hike from parking. Water and composting toilets are provided.

Great views
I loved staying for the night at this spot. The morning sunrise and the starry sky was sight to be held and to be remembered for my entire life. Host was super nice and was nothing but helpful. I would 100% recommend this as a camping spot.

We will surely be back!
My best friend and I stayed at Amanda’s site this October. What we thought of as only a pit stop along the way to Big Sur became one of the highlights of our trip. The site was perfect, so quiet, and had the most wonderful view of the stars. The sites are a few minute walk from the property/cars so it was very private and quiet. In the morning Amanda offered us a tour of the farm. We had such a ball meeting all of the animals and dogs of plenty. Amanda was great to communicate with, gave us some great recommendations for our drive and was truly such a welcoming host. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful sunset above the clouds. Host was very flexible and communicative. Late summer chaparral smells amazing. Group site tent pads are very close together.

A Special and Magical Site!
We enjoyed camping at Sacred Space Campsite in the beautiful mountains of Santa Barbara. The area is gorgeous and isolated and so delightfully quiet! Amanda is a great host and her communications were excellent. We were some of the first campers there, and we had a few conversations about the site. She integrated my suggestions for the description of the site, showing that she's a good listener and open to feedback. These are wonderful qualities for a host, in my humble opinion! If you enjoy rugged terrain and primitive camping, this special and magical site is for you!

Experience you can’t miss!
Very beautiful and special place that Amanda has decided to share with everyone. She has so much love for the land and the animals and it radiated throughout our stay. She welcomed us with open arms and was excited for us to experience her home. This is the place to go if you want a serene, peaceful and beautiful stay. The campsite was very well maintained, and they had a toilet and 5 gallon jug of water set up for us to use. We got a tour of the farm and if you love animals- this is definitely the place to be. The price is beyond reasonable and so worth it. They are very accommodating and Amanda is such a cool person. If you get the chance to come out here- take it! There is a bit of a walk to the site so take that into consideration when packing, however it is the most boujee backpacking stay you can get! 11/10 recommend!
