Countrywood Cottage and Camping
Camille's cottage is super cute and wonderfully located. I enjoyed waking up in the middle of the forest, brewing a cup of coffee and sipping it on the little porch while listening to the sound of the cicadas. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a little getaway. Camille and her family are super nice and know a lot about the area. Definitely recommend.

Perfect little cabin
Everything you need for a nice getaway! Lovely cabin with a warm easy to use gas heater, very serviceable bathroom and kitchen, and a cozy bed. The ky light was lovely especially in the snow, and the lighting options were great for getting cozy. The family that owns it is very conciencious and even their children were polite and helpful! It's close to their home but that really wasn't a problem at all. Perfect if you want to stay in or as a base camp for exploring the area. Great experience!

The host was nice, helpful, and responsive.
Pros:
- 10 min drive to the river
- kitchen came with basic amenities and easy parking
-quiet location
- nice bathroom/shower
- swamp cooler keep the place relatively cool
Cons:
- the furniture was uncomfortable: we reserved the cottage for 3 days but had to leave early. I ended up with back pain and the second night when I got up to use the bathroom the mattress flipped/tilted on it’s side and I needed help getting down, this also happened to my friend the first day
- although the host wasn’t intrusive, the cottage was literally steps away from her house
- the floor was somewhat dirty and needed a more thorough cleaning

Cute little cottage.
Camille was very welcoming. Her cottage was very cute, although it would fit about 3 people at most. My family of 5 brought a tent with us, and my 3 kids stayed on the cottage while my husband and I stayed in the tent a short distance away. Camille supplied us with a couple of extension cords so we could plug in our gadgets in the tent . If you have a lot of gadgets, I would recommend bringing a surge protector with more outlets on it like we did. There are dogs on the property and do make some noise on occasion, and a rooster crows in the early morning . If you like animals it shouldn’t be a problem. We spent a couple of days playing in swimming holes on the Yuba River . Be aware that some places are clothing optional the further away you get from parking areas. All in all, we had a very nice time, and were very comfortable at her place. Would recommend.

Countrywood Cottage and Camping
We had a great stay at Camille's cottage. It was clean and had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The location was close to Nevada City and local hiking trails which was exactly what we were looking for. Camille was super responsive and helpful getting the trip setup. Would for sure recommend!
