There's plenty of space for parking and extra tent sleeping. The property is 25 minutes from Hwy 80 at Colfax. Located off of Hwy 174, and only 20 minutes from the historic downtowns of Grass Valley/Nevada City. It's located so that you have easy access to both the Yuba River and the American River. Step into our rustic yet comfortable yurt, where you'll find all the essential amenities to make your stay unforgettable. The yurt comes with a cozy king bed and futon, please bring your own sleeping bags. Enjoy the convenience of running water and electricity, providing you with modern comforts amidst the serenity of nature. Unwind in our cozy living space, complete with rustic furnishings and a soothing ambiance. Embrace the eco-friendly experience with our compost toilet, designed to minimize environmental impact without compromising on convenience. The hot and cold outdoor shower allows you to refresh and rejuvenate while being enveloped by the sights and sounds of nature. We also have an outdoor kitchen, perfect for cooking up a delicious meal. The camp kitchen comes with a stainless steel sink and stainless steel table with plenty of space for food prep. Running water is right there at the well house. Cookware, pots and pans, utensils, and an electric burner stove to cook with are provided. Gather around the picnic table and share memorable moments with your loved ones, surrounded by the beauty of nature. If you prefer to sleep under the stars, we offer ample space for tent camping. Feel free to pitch tents right outside the yurt if you’re in a bigger group. We also welcome smaller camper vans/RVs and pop-up campers. Secluded Yurt in Forest

Beautiful and relaxing

Our stay on Anna-Thea's property was excellent! The yurt was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was a heat wave in the area when we stayed, but the fan provided in the yurt kept us cool. Anna-Thea was an excellent, but non-intrusive host. She made sure she was available for anything that we needed (which we didn't because she had thought of everything). The setting of the property is gorgeous, just close enough to Grass Valley and Nevada city. We would recommend checking out Edwards Crossing on the Yuba river.

Great Glamping Option close by

Anna-Thea’s place is an amazing Glamping option so close to the Bay Area! The yurt is well appointed and provides an oasis for a rejuvenating weekend. We loved it! Anna-Thea is an amazing host and we couldn’t thank her enough!

Great yurt experience!

I spent my 40th birthday with 3 friends and my dog on this property! We had such a great time! Anna-Thea was very welcoming and was around to answer any questions (and bring us a can opener!), but definitely gave us our privacy. The yurt was a great space to sleep or play cards or do some yoga. There is plenty of room for multiple cars and tents. The space is private but is in view of the her house and the private dirt road. I’ve done a lot of backpacking and dispersed camping so totally fine with the toilet situation, but if you need a flushing toilet this is probably not the site for you. Ladies-bring your Kula cloth! Behind the main house, there’s an outdoor shower and we all took hot showers to rinse off sunblock and lake water from our lake day. It was luxurious!!! My dog was very welcomed and he loved being off leash to follow us around the site! Propane fire pit was available for use but there’s an extra $45 charge for its use, just fyi.

Overall we had a good stay and plenty of fun experiences. Camp kitchen was smaller than I expected, but still made great use of space and managed to make some good meals

In the pines

Great location close to the towns of Grass Valley and Nevada City. The site is very peaceful and nestled in the pines. The host greeted me and my pup and was very nice.
